Hello everyone, I’m currently using a short-term, budget-friendly Chinese clone of the CB6K. I have a question about erections with it: my understanding was that cages either block erections completely or at least shorten their duration. Here is what happens to me: The glans fills out the tube both lengthwise and girth-wise, but I still get an erection in the main body of the penis, behind the base ring. This creates a hard-on that pushes against the cage wall, pinches my scrotal skin, and essentially turns my balls into a makeshift penile ring. It’s particularly bothersome at night. Is this typical? Would a CB6000s perform better? Or is there another device design worth considering? Thanks for your feedback!:)
You might find some answers regarding the “nocturnal issues” in this thread. Off-the-shelf models and clones are great for experimenting to see which style suits you best. They also help with sizing since they cost significantly less than custom-made devices, though the fit likely won't be as perfect as a bespoke unit.
I had already seen that thread but wondered if the difference between the relatively open Jailbird and the closed-tube CB6000 design would matter... but it seems like it doesn't. Since my CB only cost me about $10, I plan to try a second approach with a smaller cage before potentially moving up to a holy trainer (clone) later on. You're right @Lockedforwife; I'm still in the process of figuring out what style works for me and deciding when it's time to invest more money. Does anyone here own a CB-6000 who has faced this same issue (and found a solution?;))?
To me, it sounds like everything is normal. A chastity device doesn't prevent an erection; it merely holds it in place. This is one of the most common misconceptions among those new to wank fodder lifestyles. The second big misconception is that you cannot ejaculate while wearing a cage. With any ball trap style device, you will experience this unless you choose a device sized for your erect length. However, this isn't always recommended because it can cause issues 99% of the time when you are flaccid. If you look at research on the curve, you'll see what nearly everyone who has tried that approach says. When you get hard while wearing a device, the part that usually extends out is restricted by the tube. It still wants to extend forward and pushes against the walls of the tube. Since the tube connects to the ring around your scrotum, that area also gets stretched. Most men find that these problems decrease over time at night. Whether this is because the body adapts or the mind learns to tune them out remains a topic of debate. I've been practicing chastity for years and still get woken up a couple of times each month now. When it happens, I just accept it as part of the experience.
I never thought erections were impossible, only that they would be restricted due to hydraulic limitations. I’ll try a smaller cage along with perhaps a different base ring design, hoping it won’t pinch the skin as much as the H-profile of this inexpensive CB does.
The H profile issue can be fixed by filling it with clear casting resin from Hobby Lobby. Make sure you mix the components exactly as directed, or it won't cure properly.
Yeah, I was considering some DIY solutions too. I looked on AliExpress: you can also pick up a stainless steel base ring set (including the U-ring, bridge, locker pin with spacer, and two solid side pins) for under $10. I think I’ll give that option a try:-)
