A272 versus A271 lengths

Hello I have a Steelworxx Revenge with a 70mm length. I want to try something shorter. I couldn’t find the tube lengths for A272 and A271; any info or advice on which one to get? Thanks

Ah, ok! Thanks. Actually I was mistaken; my Revenge is 65mm, not 70. So I think it's worth trying the A271 since the other option is too similar to mine. I've read in many places that shorter is better. Just wondering how I'll manage entering such a device when horny.... Will give it a try for that price.

Please consider the measurement difference between Steelworxx Revenge and A271/272 as well. Steelworxx uses total length including the gap and base ring for their definition of measurement. Chinese manufacturers usually measure only the cage length. I think A272 is longer than your Revenge (if you ordered yours as 65 mm long). If you calculate the gap and base ring too, A271 may be about the same as your Revenge; it's almost certainly over 60 mm.

No problem; it's really cheap compared to the Revenge. I have ordered an A277 (instead of A271), which is the same length. It has the same shape as the Revenge, and I don't like the other one. I spent about 1/20th of what a Revenge costs, so naturally I do not expect the same quality. p.s. I am restarting chastity after a long pause; it is very hard to restart!

Hello, it finally arrived. I tried it out, and even though it is very cheap, I am quite disappointed. The base gap is far too large; my left ball popped out as soon as I became flaccid. I think I can throw it away.... however, the length seems perfect. Unfortunately, my Revenge, which is constructed very well, is a bit too long.

Have you tried some subtle bending to fix the problem? Better than throwing out babies with bathwater? You can't expect everything to be perfect; most people don't worry much about the gap on cheap models. I've done work on most of my budget devices, figuring if I break one in the process it's no big deal, but so far no breakages!! MsM ld

I have bent almost all my cheap devices too. You can bend it even without a vice by compressing the gap with your bare hands. Just remember to swap the lock for a normal bolt when adjusting. If you bend the device while the lock is inserted, the lock can stick as the geometry changes. When the gap is right, pull the bolt out and try again with the lock; adjust everything with pliers until the lock slides correctly in. This can take several minutes and tries, but eventually it will work. To minimize work, you can slide the square tab part of the lock into the groove of the device (the lock sits outside upside down, with only the square part contacting the device) while the bolt is inserted so the lineup of the groove doesn't change during bending. If the adjustment is very large, you might have to shorten the two aligning pins that contact the base ring; otherwise, the device won't bend properly. You may even use a file to shorten them.

The advantage of DHGate (and equivalent sites) is price; the disadvantage is customization. I use a block of wood, a rubber mallet, and a digital micrometer when making adjustments. Measure the gap on your Steelworxx and make the A277 match it. With every adjustment, be sure to check that the lock still seats—just like Loxx said. Good luck!

Related question to the a271/272 model. The integrated lock on these devices exposes the sharp edges of the brass insert. My KH has complained that she doesn’t like grinding against me while snuggling because the edge bites into her bum. I’ve tried filing down the edges but have ruined three locks doing so (exposing the cylinders and popping the springs). I’ve also tried laying a bead of hot glue over the top, but it tends to fall off after a few days. Does anyone else have a solution for this sharp edge problem?

Get a good German lock from the website. The cheaper Chinese ones have a swedes or pressed brass plate holding the pins in place. I've been able to find better quality ones on AliExpress and DHGate, but they run out of stock quickly. You'll still need to soften the edges, but since the tumblers are held with pins, you'll have room.

@Bird in a Cage Take a look at the lock on this device: ... tml#pd-018 See how there are several round brass circular marks? Those are pins pressed onto the tumbler holes. You need that, as opposed to the cheaper way of fastening them down.
