A Look at the Pen Deluxe Cage

I picked up my metal cage yesterday and was instantly daunted by its size, since I’m more of a grower than a shower. It feels like I found my ideal device without any bias toward what’s trendy or commonly adopted by the community, because for me, the fit is spot on. When we unboxed and assembled it before putting it on, we skipped the smallest ring (1.5” diameter) right away. It didn’t look like there was enough room to get my cock and balls through while realistically locking the cage in place without pinching the scrotal skin—there was practically zero clearance. So we tried the medium ring at 1.75”, but I couldn’t comfortably fit my clock inside once my testicles were settled. We ended up going with the large, 2.0” ring instead. Getting it on and seating the cage wasn’t too hard, though we struggled a bit to fully engage the pins so the integrated locking mechanism would align properly. At that point, @IveGotTheKey remarked, “we may never take this off,” as she was getting frustrated trying to lock it. Since I’ve only had it on for a few hours now, here are my initial thoughts: The build quality is solid and the finish is smooth; I haven’t felt any rough edges while wearing it. I’m really impressed by the comfort level. Falling asleep wasn’t an issue at all, even though I sleep on my stomach. Unlike with some of my previous plastic cages where binding or pinching occurred a few times, this one feels fine. Even when fully flaccid, I am close enough to the opening and the cage is open enough that standing urination works perfectly with a clear stream. This was actually my biggest concern with CB-style plastic models—when I’m most flaccid, I hated how it got deflected upward and inward, even if I sat down. We haven’t experimented much yet, but @IveGotTheKey is already excited because she can feel the skin of my glans through the metal. She even commented, “I can’t wait to grind on this.” As for me, I’m curious about how it will feel during activity. With the plastic version, even when physically as aroused as possible, there was so little exposed skin that sensation felt minimal. Finally, the design is simple and Spartan. It’s efficient with only three pieces when worn: the ring, the cage (the pins are part of the structure, so you won’t lose them), and the locking mechanism. I’ll update this as my experience develops.

Looks like a decent cage with a good initial review. Once you get used to being caged, you’ll likely find yourself needing to switch to a smaller ring.
