Question regarding the Chinese HTC Nub in Stainless Steel

Over the weekend my partner spotted a stainless steel model of The Nub on DHgate (for instance, A380-SS-0, see … 1425288365). She liked the look of it and would like me to order one because she prefers stainless steel…:-) Still, I find the sizing for the base rings on these Chinese Nubs a bit tricky. They come in three sizes (40mm, 45mm, and 50mm), but I’m not sure how they stack up against the Swiss plastic version. It seems those dimensions refer to the ring’s width, with no details given about height. To compare: The smallest ring for my Swiss model measures 53mm wide by 39mm high. That fits me well and stays secure; there’s never any risk of my balls slipping out through the narrow gap between the cage and the ring. I’ve basically been wearing it around the clock this year. Does anyone have experience with these? They don’t sell the stainless Nub with interchangeable base rings, so ordering all three sizes seems excessive…:-)

If your device is an authentic HT Nub, you likely already know which ring size fits. They provide rings in 36mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm, and 55mm widths. If it wasn't bought from Holy Trainer, just check the original seller to confirm what size was included or look at any list of sizes that came with multiple rings. What I really need to find out is if anyone owns the Chinese stainless steel version and can provide precise dimensions for one (or more) of its rings.
