Holding Up the Chastity Device

I’m curious about everyone’s approach to holding the cage in place. Do you stick with underwear or go without?

If you do wear undergarments, do you choose a large pouch design or something more standard? And do your straps clip onto the base ring itself?

In my brief time doing this, I’ve tried every combination.

Right now, I prefer wearing my kilt with nothing underneath. I use a 3/8 inch wide lightweight webbing strap that sits under the center post of the base ring. It wraps around my waist and is tied in a standard bow knot. The drawstring mechanism keeps the base ring fairly vertical and reduces the chance of it sliding down. This setup gives me excellent ventilation, keeping air circulating all around the scrotum since they are held out from the body. IT feels wonderful.

However, there are moments when I prefer to stop the lock from bouncing inside the cage, so I wear underwear then.

When wearing shorts or trousers, it’s usually either large-pouch underpants or tighter high-rise styles.

What has worked best for comfort in your cases?

It sounds like it could be great stimulation material, but my owner decided early on that I should wear panties, even though I wasn't sure about it at first. Victoria’s Secret stretch cotton has been excellent for me. A strong bikini cut or a thong works best with the cage because they offer enough width to support it while remaining very comfortable. This might not be as applicable if you have a larger cage size.

Nothing complicated... I simply wear boxer briefs. They provide sufficient support for my needs.

Funny enough, I asked a question about wearing kilts just a couple of months ago. I wear dark-colored boxer-briefs that are supportive. I have gone without underwear before, but during hot summers, things tend to sag a little.

This is a common question. When I am caged around the house, I usually go commando under basketball shorts. If we are alone, it is typically CFNM (Clothed Female Naked Male). For going out, I have several options for pouch underwear, mostly thongs or lace low-rise briefs. Some of the lace styles offer full rear coverage while others are a 'cheeky' cut. The most comfortable are the thongs, followed closely by the cheeky type.

I have a short ss cage. I wear panties as my underwear, though to be fair they aren't exactly highly supportive. However, I quite like the weight sensation, and around the house I am often nude.

When caged, I never sleep wearing underwear. I really enjoy sleeping naked while in my cage. Conversely, when uncaged, I usually wear undergarments to bed because it isn't as comfortable with "his penis" moving around freely. My Steelworxx cages are so pleasant without either panties or pants that I might consider staying completely nude at home if I didn't have children!

First, I hang low; second, I tend to get sweaty and sticky during the night. The thong helps manage both issues. During the day, things would be similar if my grandchildren didn't reside with us.

If I am home alone (since I work from home about half the time), I often walk around naked because I enjoy hearing the cage clank. For longer stretches at home, I mainly use jock straps as they handle the extra weight quite well. Thongs offer a bit less support but have always been enjoyable for me when some play is anticipated.

I wear mesh briefs designed to wick moisture away. Although these are intended for humid environments, they keep things dry especially since my cage tends to trap moisture. They provide modest support but mainly just prevent excessive swinging while I walk.

Very good discussion. My usual understanding of being caged involves a male thong; it is very comfortable and my wife loves how it looks. This October marked my first time in a cage for over a week. About a week ago, I started using a jock strap to help with erection pain at night. It helps, but this past weekend I had to take the lock out because sores developed. I think they were caused by tighter jock straps holding the cage in an unnatural position. Gonzy
