Testing has been closed for quite a while now. If you are interested in the cage, check it out at (
Hi everyone, I’ve been working on a 3D printed cage design for more serious, long-term lockups. I am getting close to a finalized design but want testers in place to make sure that the design works well at all sizes and shapes. I am opening this up to this community first as a more serious, dedicated group that chastity is more of a lifestyle than it is a kink, which you find at other websites. If you are interested in trying it out PM me and we will exchange information for when I am ready to begin wider testing. The cage will be at-cost + shipping, the pricing which I will get to you once the details are exchanged. It will be printed in Nylon, a standard material for this for its structural and skin safe properties. I am hoping to have any testers receiving the product by the end of July (logistics permitting) I have below an image of the “design” of the cage (a few things will change and it will be customized to your sizing) and in the next post more of a description behind the thought process of the design and what I am looking to do with it. If you have any questions/comments feel free to ask them here. Image
There are a few principles behind I had in mind that the design is based on. The first principle is how to measure for an ergonomic base ring. This part is probably going to be the most experimental but I want to move away from having "standardized" ring shapes. I believe that ring size and shape are more dependent on penis circumference and where your testicles typically sit than it is about how tightly you can wrap a string around the base like most try to measure. My plan is to have a dynamically shaped ring based off of clean measurements that you give me, no guessing or comparison from other products. I'm hoping to test this theory out which will be independent of the cage design itself. The second principle is that cage diameter should be based off of both your flaccid and erect diameter. Most people tend to find that smaller is better in order to control erections more comfortably. However this ignores the changes that occur with an erection. This can cause edema, the cage to slide down and pull more, pinching from extruding skin, etc. The design is planned to securely hold you while you're flaccid but is also accommodating to erections for a more natural change. The third principle is that this cage is for long-term, 24/7 chastity wear; where cleaning, comfort, and security are the top priorities. This means that the cage length is meant to be slightly shorter than your flaccid length to avoid bunched up skin that traps bacteria. The cage will be open enough for easy cleaning and maneuverability but closed enough to still serve its purpose. And there will be features in place to try to prevent easy pullout while keeping everything positioned nicely in place. With all this in mind, I want everyone to have a custom cage and I want that custom cage to fit perfectly the first time around. It is an ambitious goal but that's what keeps things progressing further.
I like what I see so far, but how about a cross bar at the tip for those with PAs?
I really like the style of the cage. I would be concerned that the ring looks like it has edges where it would touch the legs instead of being round. That looks like it could be irritating. If it was in the price range of the cherry keeper I might be interested. I agree with what you wrote about the diameter of the cage. That has been tricky for me. What will the gap size be and will that be changeable? Lastly I didn't see what material you will be using. One thing that I think our community could use is a device that could take the measurements needed to cages, but I can't really picture what that would look like or how it would work.
> Tom Allen wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 7:25 pm > I like what I see so far, but how about a cross bar at the tip for those with PAs? That will have to come later... It will be hard for me to design off the bat as I don't have a PA, but if you could PM me some cages that you have found to be the most comfortable that would be fantastic.

Yeah the ring profile I'll play around with as needed. From what I've tried so far, the "edges" don't feel much different than a normal cage, albeit the flange makes it a bit wider. I found it was only noticeable when cross-legged but made it more comfortable in pretty much every other situation. I think of it more as a "cuff" than a "ring" Right now I want to explore having the gap sized being fixed. I think having a dynamic ring size and shape will solve the issues that altering gap size "pretends" to solve. My theory is that, given enough room for the exterior diameter of the cage, how the ballsack sits comfortably in the ring is dependent on the shape and having just enough clearance for movement. And this way, assuming my theory is correct, a cage that sits tighter to the body is going to be more secure and more comfortable with less pressure on the veins of the balls (causing circulatory issues and blue balls for anyone that is more of a grower). I've even explored a negative gap but I think that is a bit too much haha For now it will be printed with in pretty standard Nylon, which is what the other 3D printed products typically use. I will update the post with that. That is an interesting idea having a measurement device. But I guess everyone has their own preferences on cages anyway. Like the design isn't working on is far from the most restrictive. What I think is needed is a really solid guide that gets spread around so that people know what they are measuring for (which I will also be working on in the future)
I am interested, I currently wear a CK probably around 90% of the time. What sort of cost are we looking at?
I would definitely be interested in a device like this. Looks like I could still wear my PA jewelry with this device, which is a definite plus for me.
How much post processing is involved? It looks like it would require a lot of support material and post production. You say nylon so I am assuming PETG? What is the locking mechanism? Just curious

It will be SLS/PBF which means there is no support material or need for immediate processing. Comes out with a texture slightly bumpier than your fingerprint (subjectively), which individuals can sand down if they find its necessary. The locking mechanism will be the integrated lock (Holy Trainer). This can be altered as needed and I will be looking into other locking mechanisms for future development.

I can't give an exact amount because it is at-cost for now. I am looking to just get the parts printed cheaply and locally to the testers to keep costs down. But because of that, the cost is going to vary depending on where its being printed and shipping from there. I think for most testers it will sit between the $70-100 USD mark shipping included
Reading through your posts you are having your university printers do the printing. Makes sense, us tinkerers dont have the resources to buy the high end stuff. I just bit the bullet and purchased an SLA printer to go along with my home built ffm printers, loving the detail I can get with it but the resins aren't really good for cage applications, too brittle so far, at least the ones I've tried
I just ordered a supposed semiflexible resin that is less prone to shattering, not sure if it will work for extended wear but might make a good material for prototypes. I may try my more enclosed cage system with it
Just as a fellow tinkerer I like integrating a TPU spacer into my assemblies, the squishy properties of it allows you to pressure fit your joints which prevents gaps and pinching because it flexes and doesn't allow gaps when you have movement it keeps everything tight. I also use it for anti-pullout rings with nubs that keep you restricted but dont restrict blood flow or pinch, the only draw back is the prints are not going to be the prettiest and will warp and meld to your body shape, the dont get looser but they just dont spring back to their original shape after extended wearing. Nothing is going to be 100% escape proof, but I have a reasonable design that binds enough to make it unpleasant to attempt because it binds and I never have gone all the way pulling out because of this unpleasantness. It is is hard to find a good balance between everyday comfort and safety while making pullout attempts painful enough that you dont want to even try
> Devoted2HerTue Jul 07, 2020 5:17 am > Reading through your posts you are having your university printers do the printing. I actually will be using a variety of small production companies to get these beta products out. This is because the cages will be SLS printed which the machines that do so are several hundred thousand dollars. Its why its a bit pricier than doing what most people recognize as 3d printing (FDM) but the quality and material are worth it. As for the TPU spacer you'll have to show me what you've done.
20200707_201623.jpg 20200707_201623.jpg (109.78 KiB) Viewed 6376 times Here is the combo spacer / anti-pullout. TPU is not going to print something like this very pretty and to get it to stick you have to print a brim around it on the build plate which is hard to remove cleanly, but it really doesn't affect the functionality. This one is from an older prototype than I am wearing now and you can see how it gets warped from wear but once you are in and the cage is locked in the front you dont have the ability to stretch it an remove once the cage is removed, it is very comfortable except when you try to forcibly pull yourself out from behind the ring then it pulls tight

> Devoted2HerWed Jul 08, 2020 2:17 pm > If you are looking to get a fast cheap prototype I should be able to print on my sla printer with this resin I just got delivered Thanks for your offer. All the testing needs to be in SLS Nylon at this point because it is largely past the point of prototyping and onto finalizing details and testing how the cage interacts with the material at different sizes. Here's a preview of one of the first alpha models I had printed! Image Image
Looks nice, not a good style for me as I am a grower not a shower I would turtle like crazy in it. But I really like the sleekness of the design!
The finish on the cage looks really rough. Will it be smooth in the final version? I haven't been able to get the cage for the cherry keeper smooth enough to wear for any longer than 24 hours without getting abrasions.
From past experience i know that i would end up with my cock (if it was long enough) sticking right through that big pee slot, it’s much too big without some sort of cross bar to hold anybody who shrinks from time to time. MsM’s ld

The design will be made to measure. So the idea is that the head portion of the cage is just shorter than the length of your shaft (base to corona) and it has a ridge to sit behind the corona to hold everything in place. So in your case I would likely just shorten the length and you would be good to go! This is just the size that I printed for me (and why I need testers, for other sizes) > HomebodyThu Jul 09, 2020 7:49 pm > The finish on the cage looks really rough. Will it be smooth in the final version? I haven't been able to get the cage for the cherry keeper smooth enough to wear for any longer than 24 hours without getting abrasions. It is the "standard" 3d printing texture, so it is going to be a bit rougher especially without any post processing. I haven't fully looked into the options for smoothing it out yet because I want to get the shape down first. There are a few options I have in mind for getting it smoother though that I will test out personally once I have a design I've settled on. > slave dThu Jul 09, 2020 10:05 pm > From past experience i know that i would end up with my cock (if it was long enough) sticking right through that big pee slot, it’s much too big without some sort of cross bar to hold anybody who shrinks from time to time. The head portion will naturally scale with the diameter and size of the rest of the cage. The pee slot isn't actually that large (proportionately) and does a good job of working as a cradle to help shift things into place with your natural movement. Part of the reason is it looks quite large in the photos is its the size I needed and just how the photo was taken really emphasizes it. Worse case scenario I can close the gap more for you. But the head shape is the one thing that isn't based on static measurements and is purely an organically modelled shape, so there is lots of flexibility with it as needed.
Just a quick update for my testers and anyone else interested. I am just waiting on my final "alpha" design to come in so I can test it on my end and then I will begin getting the information from my testers and making the made to measure cages for them. I've also found several products for creating a glossy, smooth layer over top of the print instead of post processing. So it should create what looks like a molded part but made custom for you! Now with how I plan on distributing the beta products, I won't be able to do this for the testers but I will be testing it here and just picking the best solution for the future. Lots of good things planned!
I have a 3D printer and would be glad to print it myself, offering feedback in return. I’m more than willing to cover the design cost if that helps.
@Valexxia I own several 3D printers. I wouldn't attempt printing this on an FDM printer because removing the supports would be an absolute nightmare, and I doubt you could get the internal smoothing to an acceptable level. He mentioned that he is using a high-end industrial fused filament printer, which explains his higher price for beta testing. I could print it on my SLA resin printer, but available resins might not provide enough strength given how thin his walls are. However, my own designs have worked well with SLA printing; they aren't as streamlined, yet they hold up fine. Just my opinion: while his cage looks sleek and very nice!
I like the idea as well and am interested in working with you. The ring size is a long-term wear issue I consider carefully. Before ordering my current Lori tube, I spent considerable time testing different ring sizes. I bought several round steel cock rings to evaluate their durability over extended periods. A diameter might feel perfect for a few days but start causing issues after about a week. It took me more than two weeks of continuous wear before I felt confident in the final size. That’s just my two cents on that topic. I would also be interested in an option with a pa piercing pin. Adding to my wishlist: ideally, the pa pin could be slightly thicker and hollow from the tip backward into the urethra, allowing urine to exit through the tube with minimal splash and mess. An option without the ring, relying solely on pa locking combined with that hollow pin idea, would also appeal to me. I am seeking the ultimate device for long-term wear. I can wear a Lori tube equipped with a steel pa pin for up to ten weeks without removing it for cleaning, but my member tends to experience fluctuating edema due to erections over such extended periods. Your approach of accommodating both flaccid states and erections is novel and very creative—a great idea! I have a 3D printer if that helps with testing prototypes quickly, though I haven’t yet had the time or curiosity to learn CAD. I’ll send you a private message and hope to join your endless quest for the perfect device. Please let me know if you need sizing details; I can provide them upon request. Best regards, Björn
I appreciate the design philosophy and strongly believe that 3D printing is the future. I would certainly be interested.
Could we see an open view to observe how it fits?
Hi there. I might be interested. I'm located in the USA; are you still accepting testers?

Okay, I'm still going through the approval process here. Once that's done, I think I'll be able to send you a PM. Thanks!
Hi, I would be very interested.
How is the gathering of test subjects going? I like the design quite a bit.
It appears you intend to use Shapeways for production. I found their standard finish too rough and irritating. Many others seem to share this issue. Sanding is quite difficult since the nylon must be done by hand; its low melting point means it can melt if a Dremel tool is used. Shapeways does offer a premium finish (white only). I ordered my cherry keeper with that option. It isn't glossy, but it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Evotion paints their devices (likely dipping them), resulting in a very nice smooth finish; unfortunately, mine faded almost immediately. Based on my testing and reviewing of various devices, particularly 3D-printed ones, if you rely on one of the large printing companies, the finish will be a major concern. It is refreshing to see your desire to create something new. I am curious to see how your efforts turn out.

I'd be curious to find out how your effort turns out. Thank you for the info. My plan is to produce a more premium product compared to those using larger manufacturing facilities. Instead of sanding, I will use a sealant to achieve a glossy finish similar to other plastic devices. Once everything is up and running, I believe you'll notice the difference between my complete package and other products on the market. Exciting times ahead!
I look forward to seeing your final product.
The testing queue is now closed. Thanks to everyone that has offered to help with this project! I will be going down the list one at a time and getting the devices sent out to you as soon as possible.
i would like to tell you what i have found out. that an A ring which is round at the top but slightly V shaped at the bottom and slightly bent backwards works for me the best . the chastity cage needs to be 39mm inside as i am not curcumsized and dont want to pinch skin . i have a large set of balls and 55mm a ring or 60mm depending fits best . i have a cobra snug which is a bit small. but has a devious feature where the head of the penis goes there is a slightly smaller ring that fits where a gland ring would, it reminds you you are locked all the time and ads to my frustration . i would love to test one of your systems. if you see fit its [[email protected]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#77071e1b180343421416370e161f18185914181a)

I know, it's a big ask, isn't it?

It boggles the mind...sometimes I think there should be a test, that people have to pass, in order to get a license to access the internet.
Hi I'd like a free device please. J/k Just wondering what the end product looks like and how the testing went.

Let me know if it works for you.

Just a thought. Let me know if it works for you. So that's actually what most places do to get a smoother finish. It still leaves a slightly textured finish though which isn't great for chastity as that texture traps lots of dead and living things, the main cause of odor. The manufacturer I go with does a vapor blasting technique that gets it nearly as smooth as a molded piece.
I saw your 3D Printed Cage, the shape is cool, very male taste, I hope more love people like your work! Can you make some pink style Chastity Cages? Good job!
Let me guess. You are done with beta testing by now?
Interested in new 3d cage in Southampton UK Current use is a SS heavy beast.
are there any experiences or reviews available somewhere? because the concept looks pretty neat. i'd love to hear from people who are wearing the cage long term. especially how the "turtle grip head ring" works. because peeing can sometimes be a real mess:P
Love the design would love to try it and provide feedback. My cb6000 isn't great and the wife doesn't like metal ones.

Couldn't find in the thread where or how but I didn't look that close. I know the wife will say you are fine with what you have.
i need a base ring that is 2.86 inches . Is that doable?
As this keeps getting dug up, the testing phase for the Blackout Evo has closed and is now available for purchase on There will be more testing for other new devices coming soon so keep an eye out here,, and
I've seen this device many times on the internet and bought it once in L and XL but they didn't fit as expected. I have some experience with CAD and was hoping to get my hands on the maker file so I could modify the cage and print it my self. Is there any chance that this model will be opensource or shared privately?

I suspect it might be a translated message cause it reads like its grammar from another language and it is also their first and only post
