If a manufacturer of chastity devices approached you and asked, “Got any ideas for what you’d like to see in the next version?” What would your suggestions be? I currently wear a fairly standard trapped ball device featuring a solid metal tube and base ring. However, I wouldn’t mind having a couple of small outer rings added so that I could attach chains as well. These chains would connect to a locking belt around my waist, helping to secure the device more firmly against me—creating essentially a full chastity belt. Another feature on my wish list is this: My current device includes a built-in barrel-style lock, which is excellent for quiet wear. But with a remote keyholder, there’s no real way to prove it hasn’t been opened at all—not like a standard padlock that can be wrapped or sealed. If we could find a secondary method of threading a numbered tag (or similar object) through the lock to “seal” it, that would be clever. Any other ideas?
A threaded adjustment screw system that allows for micro-adjustments of the ball gap between the cage and ring, letting you lengthen or shorten the distance at will. This kind of replaces the need for spacers. Also, a broader selection of ring sizes and cage diameters to accommodate larger members.
Had another idea. Since electronics are small enough now. How about a sensor in the lock that records when the lock gets opened. And a small waterproofed in some way socket for a cord that lets you plug your device into a laptop to recharge it, and upload the sensor log. That way, a keyholder will know if your device has been opened, and exactly when.
What I want is not just another cage. Rather, I’d like something that automates the measurements required for proper fitting. I’m unsure of the exact mechanism, but it would be great if you could put it on and have it adjust itself while providing all the necessary data.
My ideal feature would be a sensor that detects pull-out and notifies my key holder's app....I think that would solve the age-old pull-out problem for most.
I'd like to have a steel A-ring that opens up to let the balls through during fitting, but closes tighter once locked—like a hinged ring but without pinching. Hmmmm, tricky problem to solve. I'd also want this feature on the tube right behind the glans so pull-out is more difficult. And I saw a cage with a built-in shock unit positioned at the balls. As for sensors, how about a hard-on detector that tells your keyholder's phone just how much pressure your cock was exerting?
In a full-on fantasy device it would tighten (get smaller in every direction) at the slightest sign of a growing erection. Also, this feature would be controllable remotely so the keyholder could clamp down on you at will.
Coincidentally, I made a topic on the other board about 45 minutes before this one went up; it outlined my idea. I'd like a "lite" full belt—one that is as open in front as possible while still preventing touching. This would be achieved by having a small central cage surrounded by a larger outer cage that covers without contact, connected directly to the belt part (and separately removable). You couldn't touch any part of your junk, no pulling out, you couldn't shake or play with the inner cage, and you couldn't even use a vibrator to stimulate it. But you can see it, feel the wind on it, and keep it fairly clean and dry. Even deep cleaning would only require taking off the outer part if the cage and belt are thin enough and as open as possible, so that wouldn't be much of a break from being squished down.

My device has the built in barrel type lock, which is great for more silent wearing. But, with a remote keyholder there is no way to really prove it has never been opened. Not like with a regular padlock that can be wrapped or sealed. If there was a secondary way of passing a numbered tag or something through this lock to "seal" it, that would be neat. > Any more ideas? My rigid chastity device is designed so a numbered security tag can pass through the barrel lock and prove the device hasn't been tampered with.
I would place contact points on the bottom inside of the A-ring, similar to those found on a shock collar. The keyholder could remotely control the shocks through an app on a cell phone at any time and from any distance.
Hundreds of built-in, low-pressure shower nozzle ports along the inner surface of the device. The bars (rings, tube, etc.) would have water channels leading to these nozzles. You could attach a hose to the bottom of the ring, allowing you to soap and then rinse every square millimeter effectively. (Low pressure only, to avoid over-stimulation.) It’s not nearly as creative as some earlier posts, but having a perfect cleaning solution instead of an onerous, time-consuming merely satisfactory one would be ideal for me.
Adding to the fantasy (but within reach of possibility) options, how about a built-in vibration system? Not an attached vibrator, but more like filaments throughout the cage bars that can be controlled remotely.

That is a very interesting idea which I might have to take a second look at designing. You would need to design it large enough so that water can actually flow around everything. Otherwise you'll just end up with some plugged holes causing higher pressure elsewhere. Or even worse, trapped water:o I've conceptualized several of these ideas for prototype cages. One is a smaller inner cage enclosed by a bulky outer shell with air/water vents. It’s probably too bulky to be practical but it's a fun idea. Another one I hope to have prototyped this summer is a two-piece shell where the penis loops into the bottom half and the top half is a mesh-like structure that snaps on. This secures you away from the top shell, providing enough ventilation for cleanliness over time.
Most of what I’d like to see is technology leading to better and more secure fits, particularly for growers like myself. As I’ve yet to find a cage that actually works for me, I've always fantasized about someone using materials science advances to develop a lightweight auto-sizing cage, perhaps one relying on an electronic lock. If more men could find devices that work without so much trial and error, it would likely lead to many more men wearing cages, expanding the market enough to support some of these other ideas.

With 3-D printing, this might actually be possible. It would need an over-pressure safety device though, because the orifices must necessarily be small to prevent accidental skin penetration... although... as I think about it more, if the input valve is sufficiently restrictive, it won't be much of an issue... ...but there needs to be a way to account for water pressure variability at the input. Public water supplies don't all maintain the same constant pressure. Then there are non-public systems—mine operates on 40psi low and 60psi high (when system pressure drops to 40psi, a pressure switch triggers the pump; it runs until pressure increases to 60psi, at which point the switch opens and cuts off the pump). The three common pressure switches are 20/40, 30/50 and 40/60, all adjustable somewhat up or down.

Public water supplies are not all, and not always, at the same pressure. Then there are non-public systems- mine is set at 40psi on the low side and 60psi at the high side (when the system pressure drops to 40psi a pressure switch triggers the pump, which runs until the pressure increases to 60psi, at which point the pressure switch opens and cuts off the pump). The three common pressure switches are 20/40, 30/50 and 40/60, and all are adjustable to some degree both up and down. I was thinking the pressure regulator would be integrated into the hose attachment. No need for that to be on the device itself. I also envisaged a low-pressure air source for drying afterwards. That would solve several problems too. Ultimately though, I think this is just a dream. Ports/holes as small as I'm imagining will inevitably get plugged up, and cleaning the device would still require periodic removal. The water channels would demand a larger device since all bars/tubes/rings need to be hollow. It’s starting to sound like something Delta or Moen needs to build.
A clip-on cage vibrator, preferably with edging technology.

I don't think it would have to grow much if you used sintered metal/titanium. Of course, this will come at a premium cost due both to the titanium and the expense of the sintering process (which requires a high-heat furnace). And I wouldn't want Moen building it—I needed a new showerhead recently and paid the premium for a Moen (as opposed to the cheap Chinese ones next door). It deteriorated even faster than the cheaper one that preceded it. You don't always get what you pay for.
This all seems to be fantasy device creations; there doesn't seem much that can truly be achieved.

With a rug rat running around and climbing on me etc., I'd like a soft cage that is relatively secure but wouldn't raise questions from the kid when they climb all over dad!

Yeah it's too bad the current silicone ones out there aren't very well designed. Even just having one for sports with high degree of movement would be nice. This is one that I'll be looking to prototype over the summer to see if I can get something going
A base ring similar to: ... %3A2334524 But instead of a hinge, the ring has an outward spring-like quality that is brought to proper size by the lock
Using a more traditional padlock & rectangular / oval post, the post should have notches on the top (as opposed to one hole in the center) at 1/16" intervals or so to allow for an adjustable gap. A mass produced version would have limitations, but custom could have a center notch be the customer's preference, and one or two notched wider or narrower would seem doable.
I would love to see a cage with some of the new fitness monitor technology embedded in it. It could measure heartrate, track erections, and notify the KH of any tampering attempts.

It could measure heartrate, track erections, and notify the KH of any tampering attempts. That is a terrific idea - Real Time Penis Monitoring - the possibilities are endless! A couple out shopping, when a young hottie walks past. The wife pulls out her phone to see her husband's live physical reaction! A focus group of men's reactions to erotic imagery - no words are needed. Jealous wives and girlfriends demand a new level of accountability. Annual physical - man hands over a year's worth of his minute-by-minute penis status - ideally to his attractive female physician. A starlet walks the red carpet in a revealing dress, and her entourage counts the tumescence in the millions! A hundred dads at the high-school football game. Who's most turned on by the cheerleaders? Of course, wives share their hubby's status with their friends - and see which hubby will be longest denied! And of course, all of us have our live status in the signature of our posts!

M'Lady's next move would be to hit the button on her transmitter and send my heartrate through the roof!:o

Oh, the sensor technology ideas are completely doable at a high enough price point. Easy enough to do if you are desk bound for part of your day, or at home watching TV. My Fitbit charges in less than an hour, shouldn't take more than that!:)

Maybe we can add that tech.
Have you seen the way Tony Stark's Iron Man helmet in Infinity War just appears and disappears with NanoBot Technology? Maybe something like that with a base ring that is powered by an arc reactor.

The only real issue is charging the battery - either you're "plugged in" and stationary for a while every day, or the device has to come off for charging. I read a story somewhere once with something like that--it was a female chastity device, but it would shock her if she didn't plug it in by a certain time every night, and leave it plugged in most of the night. Of course it would still run out of charge eventually, but in the meantime...ouch. Definitely too painful to contemplate, especially if you don't even know how much battery it actually had. Combine that with a built-in GPS, and your entire day could be easily controlled. Imagine making those mandatory in the prison system...
Personally, I would like to see a secure method, other than a PA piercing, to ensure no pull outs i.e. a glans ring with a tether to the cage. Even those who "turtle" would remain secure within the confines of the cage.
This thread plus the occasional ones wondering how common Male Chastity is got me thinking, if we're looking for slightly sci-fi additions, then an RFID chip that will trigger a stationary counter whenever it passes nearby. So, you set your counter (disguised as something innocuous) on the table at the coffee shop, and when you leave an hour later, it tells you if any caged guys were nearby.

BlueTooth enabled, anyone with the phone app gets a notification when in range. 2 versions of app, one for KHs, one with notifications only. KH can set TENS function to be controlled by *any* KH app in range.

If someone turtles small enough compared to their normal flaccid size, it might not be possible to have a rigid glans ring that isn't painful at times yet holds the turtling member in place. Glans rings are also problematic for non-circumcised folks. There happens to be a technology to prevent pull out, without a piercing. It involves a short urethral insert that goes in no further than a typical PA hook/ring, but locks against the meatal annulus (a ring of inelastic tissue located 1/4"-1/2" from the penis tip. I wrote a blog on my DIY experiments with this Tetherspout technology some 5+ years ago. Nowadays, I machine relevant titanium parts (the originals' stainless steel was suboptimal) as a hobby, including customized locking systems, and sell them to interested parties.
post edited - advice turned out to not work
What I’d really like is to be able to remove the front of my cage from the base ring and immediately replace it with a longer, wider cage of the same material in which I can get an erection, but cannot stimulate my penis. Almost like I have my penis inside a dildo which is locked to the base ring. I could then slide it inside mistress T and have ‘sex’ with her, but with zero chance of orgasm. I want to be able to feel her warmth and lubrication, after she’s orgasmed I withdraw, remove the extended cage, and refit the small cage. So the extended cage would be slightly longer than my 5 and a half inches erection and slightly wider - though it would be good to have some sideways grip so I know I have it on! I’d also like the large cage to work even if I lose my erection inside it. OK, so I know we could use a strap-on, but I’d like to be inside Mistress T, and I’d like to feel the tug on my balls as I slide in and out of her. Does such a thing already exist somewhere maybe?
There are some sleeves or extenders out there but they wouldn't attach to the device base ring. They slip over your erection and a strap goes behind the scrotum to keep it in place. They look fairly thick walled to me so I doubt you would feel anything. Maybe someone that has tried one will chime in.

Seems like a secure technique, but, unfortunately, a risky one.
