Butt Plug Usage During Lockup and Softness Levels

Do a lot of you use a buttplug? How long do you keep it in? Is it easy for you to stay soft while building up the desire to insert that butt plug? I don’t normally wear one, but I just bought mine (tonight!) It’s stainless steel with a hefty 1.6” girth diameter… and -wait for it- the word “SLUT” on the base in bright pink. How sexy is that?

That's a big size; hope you've taken time to get your muscles accustomed to relaxing back there. I have worn one for hours or most of the day before. The downside is that it makes me need to empty my bowels more frequently. It can be messy when removing if it has been in long enough and I've eaten; plus, getting it back in requires carrying lube with you constantly. So I don't do it often. I have wanted a steel one so it slides in and out easier, even if not quite as comfortable as silicone (since then I can use silicone lube and avoid friction burns when pulling it out after several hours). Oh, finding one that is truly comfortable with a good curved t-handle is tricky too. And no, inserting it doesn't get me erect.

I agree with everything Jon Descer says. I have four solid glass BPs of different sizes. The 1.6" makes me think my sphincter muscle might tear during insertion and removal. The smaller ones go in and out easily and feel good, but I don't use them often enough to train the muscles to handle the large one without significant discomfort. That is a goal for the coming months.

I have considered glass myself but I am too paranoid, especially since I don't want a massive base digging into my cheeks. A narrower handle gives me the willies. I can actually manage one that large, but I need to work up to it rather than just plopping it right in. That is why I hope the OP has been training; otherwise, he might need some smaller sizes to open himself up before grabbing the big boy.
