Hi everyone, Mikel here with a query: I recently picked up a resin cage to give it a shot. I usually lean towards steel because it feels more secure, but I tend to over-analyze different designs too much. LOL The resin model is quite comfortable and significantly lighter than steel. Having vents/openings helps keep things cleaner compared to the closed resin cages I’ve worn before. Here’s my question: With this resin cage, I can actually forget it’s on, which feels a bit odd to me. I miss that persistent feedback from the heavier unit confirming I’m locked up. It still signals when I get aroused, but I mean during normal hours. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is craving that constant reminder of being caged common, or do you just acclimate like you would with a steel device? I’d like to start using a work-day cage (maybe the resin one) and let my KH decide which unit I wear on weekends or days off. This should help break up our usual routine. I own several cages that are only suitable for short periods, but they don’t get much use because KH dislikes me being uncomfortable at home, away from home, or changing devices too frequently. Maybe this setup will introduce some new challenge to our dynamic. What do you think?

I use a resin cage that fits well and is very comfortable; often I don't even notice it. That's exactly how I like it. However, there are moments when arousal hits and I need that cue, which my cage provides perfectly for me. Ultimately, long-term wear comes down to comfort, and with cages, lighter tends to be better. Regarding the constant reminder of a heavier cage: I think it would become distracting. It might reduce my ability to concentrate on tasks. That said, when I take my cage off and then put it back on later, it takes about two or three days for me to get used to it again. During those adjustment days, you could say I am constantly reminded of its presence until the feeling becomes normal. When I'm unlocked, I feel a void and find myself craving relocking more often. The longer I stay free, the stronger that desire grows. In short, I crave being locked up rather than needing the physical reminder all the time. There is no right or wrong in chastity. Do what feels correct for you and your KH and enjoy it.

Yes, I agree with evanknox. I've reached a point where not being locked makes me miss the cage, almost as if I've forgotten something. It's similar to how I feel when I'm not wearing my steel units; several times a day I pause wondering what's missing. I also think it varies by person. Based on what I've read here, if one method works for someone else, it might not work for ten others. We're just going with the flow and figuring things out daily—discovering what we enjoy and what suits us. That’s partly why I’m experimenting to keep things fresh and encourage more direct interaction from my KH.

**NO** right or wrong answer when it comes to chastity. Do what your KH and you feel is right and enjoy the experience. Fixed for typos.

I agree with the earlier posts that a nylon cage is nearly invisible when soft. Over the last four years I've tried various plastic, nylon, and steel cages. I prefer the comfort of nylon but also enjoy the tugging sensation and shine of stainless steel. I'm considering using my walnut box lined with velvet to store them, so KH can pick her favorite for any given day or schedule. Just some observations.

You're not alone in that feeling. I usually prefer the weight of a steel cage. Honestly, I wouldn't mind something even heavier. It's always there, but after wearing it for a while, I can still focus on tasks—it just took some time to adjust. The idea of my KH choosing based on whim is appealing too. The walnut/velvet box adds a nice touch.
