I recall someone here mentioning they were going to attempt that approach.
I'm curious how much of a long-term tease this would be for men who find pregnant women appealing, like my partner. I am about to act as a surrogate for our daughter, and he is quite thrilled by the idea!
@Macy has keys It's incredible what modern medicine makes possible. The ability to carry your own grandchild blows my mind. It is such a generous gift you are offering your daughter (and yourself). With our children now in their twenties, I cannot picture my wife enduring pregnancy again. Best wishes and congratulations!

My ex-wife was just as hungry for sex when she was pregnant. It was wonderful watching her all hormonal and wanting intimacy as much as I did constantly. We paused our denial routine during that time and also on vacations. Pregnant women are incredibly attractive!

Time will tell; I am getting embryoed up in December right before Christmas!

The embryo transfer is done! We placed three embryos in total, and the procedure went smoothly.

I had my first test at the doctor's office this morning, and my beta level was a whopping 586!! Choosing to transfer three is based on implantation likelihood for women in my age group. I was initially nervous about transferring three embryos, but since they have invested so much in treating infertility, I am hoping two will take hold. Although that high 586 beta value makes me wonder:o:shock:

It's quite interesting. Here in New Zealand (our daughter underwent nearly five years of IVF to have our grandson—his issue rather than hers), they only ever perform a single implantation now. The risk associated with multiple pregnancies is considered too high, so it’s one or none. This does lower the success rate somewhat, but that is the trade-off. We wish you all the best, as we certainly understand what it's like to watch someone go through repeated cycles of this process, especially when they are also providing the egg, as our daughter did. I am glad your daughter finally got her baby!
