A month back, my urge to wear a chastity cage was tucked away in some hidden corner of my mind—nothing more than a faint curiosity. Thanks to some lucky searching online, I started reading and learning that using a male device first helps the wearer focus more on their partner, eventually leading to greater attentiveness overall. Second, wearing it clears up your mental fog; you become sharper with daily tasks because letting sexual thoughts drift in brings uncomfortable consequences if you’re not careful. Finally, there’s a physical side: when locked away, his sexual energy toward his partner rises well above normal levels compared to being released.

Based on what I’ve read so far, I want to start my chastity journey, but I need to get past the main challenge of bringing it up with my wife. I hope these benefits might be enough reason for us to give it a try, or maybe there’s an even better approach? What do you all think?

> perhaps there is a better way of approaching the subject with your wife? "Honey, I came across something while browsing the web recently. It sounds like it could be some hot and sexy fun. I'd really love for us to try it out. Could I tell you about it?"

Well, it certainly doesn't make *my* mind any clearer or 'more focused' on other things. When my wife keeps me locked up, I find myself thinking about sex much more often, which takes focus *away* from everything else. Rule #1: Not everything you read online is actually true. Any idiot can post whatever nonsense comes out of their bottom half, regardless of whether it holds water...and if you're on FakeBook, the Stupidity Quotient goes waaaaaaaaaaay up.

More focused in general? No. More focused on pleasing my key holder to earn an orgasm or maintain the locked status? Yes. A happy key holder leads to a happy life behind bars. I got my wife onboard by being honest when she asked how much I jacked off after turning down her advances for sex. I suggested using a chastity cage as a way to stop that from happening in the future. She looked into it, and just days later had me order one. We are now working on year 4 of our 24/7 arrangement and couldn't be happier. She controls if and when I cum. I'm always able to get hard whenever she wants my cock, and she has recently started sleeping with select bulls too when the mood strikes her. Her big fear was that she would end up deprived herself. Once she realized she gets more oral sex and general intimacy by locking me up, she became a huge fan.

After being teased and denied for a week my head is on nothing else. Everything reminds me of sex, yet the discomfort is actually very enjoyable.

The best way to approach it? Read plenty of journals and see how others did it. Will that method work for you? Or just say plainly that this is what you want to do, lock yourself up, and wait a year.

I am still working on getting my wife onboard with this. She is "receptive", but unsure. We talk about it occasionally; I'm not forcing her into anything, just telling her about the positives for both of us. I also express how strongly I want her to control all that access, and as time marches on she seems more and more open to the idea. To her right now, this is mostly a game. Time and slow careful steps may make it something far greater. Eddie

I also disagree with the idea that I'm generally more focused, but I will say that I feel overall much more energized when allowed no orgasm for a week or longer. What really happened was that I gained a better understanding of my wife’s perspective on our relationship and realized I’ve been quite an asshole on several occasions. Before this change, I masturbated frequently—a very selfish act in a partnership. This habit made me numb to my wife’s distress because it pulled me into a parallel life beside hers rather than truly with her. If things weren't perfect between us, I could always get some minor pleasure and ignore the problems. When I started experimenting secretly with a chastity cage, I realized how addicted I was to those small moments of release that come with masturbation; it felt wrong. It felt like betraying our relationship. But how do you bring this up? Infidelity was already on my wife’s mind since she didn't react kindly when I mentioned female co-workers. I took her reaction as an opportunity, showed her a cage, and explained how it works. She found it curious but couldn't quite relate to the concept at first. Then, half a year later, Dave Chapelle came to the rescue! He had a whole segment explaining how men would stroke out in front of the TV over bowls of cereal. He was certainly over-the-top, yet less so than I prefered. I felt my wife’s gaze on me during that segment. After we watched the show together, she asked me how often I did “it,” and I answered truthfully. The next morning, she announced that she had to restrict my ability to masturbate. I was excited, but mostly scared as I handed over both keys…

I don't have a key, and haven't had one since day one. After three and a half years, I still jump and cringe slightly when I hear the click of the padlock closing. Knowing that the next time this lock opens will be entirely up to my Mistress makes me appreciate her more for wanting to keep me as her property and toy.

They are true for many people. But bear in mind that those of us caged long-term or frequently do so because we genuinely want to be. By this I mean we really, truly desire it. So for us, we're living the dream. While no one knows exactly how common it is, chastity is probably very much a minority sport. With that in mind, putting a man into caging when he doesn't particularly want to do so (if that's even possible) would likely not yield those same positive outcomes.
