Cobra Cage Base Ring Skin Pinching

I just picked up a genuine Cobra cage. I really enjoy how comfortable it is, and the fact that you don’t need to remove it for hygiene reasons is excellent. That said, it does come off when going through airport security or visiting the doctor, as well as whenever @HisKeyholder82 feels like having the cock locked in this specific cage. Reattaching it often leads me to pinch my skin at the pin points where the cage meets the base ring. Do any Cobra veterans have tips, tricks, or hacks for preventing that when putting the device back on?

I deal with that same issue and haven't found a perfect fix yet. Until something better comes to mind, I've been slipping (with some effort) a Post-It note between the top of my penis and the base ring, which protects well against pinching.

The Post-it suggestion sounds good. I attempted using one of those waist straps earlier but realized the friction burn from pulling it out once secured would be too intense. I need to test a Post-it note to see how that works. Also, I recall reading on Reddit that someone assembles the cage first and inserts the penis only after everything is locked in place. @HisKeyholder82 agrees to try this method, but we haven't removed it yet to verify.

Next time around I'll give a small piece of cloth a try. Currently wearing my Jail Bird cage and likely to stay in it for the next four or five days.
