A surprising find regarding how easy it is to pull out

… V1__.jpg I picked up a knock-off V4, mostly for the new ring style. Oddly enough, I usually wear a 45 mm ring, and these indicate that 47mm is the smallest option, but the shape really caught my eye.

I used the 49mm one—the third from the bottom—and it fit snugly with its wider band; I liked how it felt. The next morning, I tried on the 47mm ring. It looks much smaller in person than any of my other 45mm rings, so I wanted to check it out.

I wiggled into it. It measures 47mm across and is a bit over 30mm on the flat sides. The fit feels tight but not uncomfortably so. When I got out of the shower, my boys are typically at their lowest point and longest stretch, which usually lets them slide right out of other devices. To my surprise, I couldn’t pull out of this unit.

I was shocked. I tried a few times, and yes, if I FORCED it, I think I could get out through the tube, but doing so comfortably wasn’t possible at all. I wore the device all day while working and walking around quite a bit, and everything seemed fine; things were flowing correctly with no restrictions or weird temperature shifts. So tonight, I’m going to sleep in it and try again tomorrow to see what happens.

Has anyone else noticed that the ring’s shape can interfere this much with pulling out? This one is fairly flat on top and bottom. By the way, I do like the V4 design.

Absolutely. I've found it makes a huge difference that I now design and print my own rings. It seems like a thicker ring (measured front to back) can actually be smaller because it has a much larger surface area, meaning less pressure per square inch. I have made some massive ones lol
