Hi there. I’m new to the A271 and also a newbie on this forum. I searched around before posting but didn’t find much recent discussion. Perhaps this is all old news for you veterans. I want to know what modifications can improve my A271 fit? Please share your experiences with getting a better fit that becomes permanent for you. So far, I’ve bent the two bars that plug into the base ring slightly upward to create more gap, and it feels quite comfortable. I switched down to the smallest base ring size, which keeps the device closer to my body continuously; this holds the penis tip near the end of the cage well. However, I still can’t stand up to pee. I wish I could figure out how to do that. I have a replacement burg wachter lock ready for installation. Do they sit lower profile and protrude less than the standard ones included with it? The current one has a sharp edge that affects the silhouette in my pants slightly. Thank you. Curiousrk
I believe the A271 has a round hole at the end rather than a large slot; please correct me if I'm mistaken. If that's true, lining up to pee is nearly impossible. You can add a urethral insert which will definitely solve this. I've had a steel one in permanently since June 22 and can stand up to pee without any trouble or fuss. This allows me to work on building sites and use public restrooms easily enough. There's quite a bit of information about this available here on the forum. Good luck.
Thanks Mr. Pickle. This is indeed the model I have. Trying to attach a photo for the first time here; please forgive me if it doesn't look perfect. I think I might just not be quite long enough for this device in every situation. My tip isn't always mashed up against the cage, so it moves around after a while. Combined with the fact that I'm wearing business attire almost all day when away from home, I feel really shy about trying to pee at a urinal. At home, I sit anyway; I have always done this just to keep the bathroom clean. Atone suggested practicing in the shower, which has been helpful. I've been following your progress with the tube and find it very exciting to think about. Being impaled that way, feeling it deep in my core and knowing it's inaccessible would definitely be a next level of control for sure. However, I'm scared stiff at just dabbling in putting something into my pee hole. I'd need a good coach for guidance and some help; it sits just outside my comfort zone in real life. In fantasy land though, I'm there—watching my wife/key holder inserting and locking me down before leaving for a multi-day trip… that really sounds thrilling lol.
Ah-ha. It lacks the little hole, so it's not suitable for a tube. Originally I went with a cage that was 'on paper' the correct size (4 inches with tube). My erect length is near 8 inches and flaccid is about 5 to 5.5 inches. But at times I shrink down, and also the ring slides down my balls which hang low. I switched to a 3-inch device including the ring. It's squished in now, and since the cage is lighter it slips less. Don't be afraid of urethral Inserts or the stories surrounding them. When you're ready, get the right one and just go for it.
I wear the A271 as well. It is the most comfortable and best-fitting device I've ever owned. The ergonomic ring is incredibly comfortable and stays put. I often wear this device 24/7 for extended periods since that's my key holder's preference. I have a new stainless steel device ordered that features the same ergonomic base ring, but it is shorter and more open. It will be interesting to see how it works out. We are still looking for a non-metal device for use in situations where I need to go through metal detectors, but haven't found one yet that my experience tells me would be comfortable for continuous wear.
Thanks to Mr. Pickle's advice, I retried using an insert. I tried the silicone tube ones and they always hurt, though perhaps I didn't allow enough break-in time. I then tried the metal one with a bulbed end and it is night and day different. You quickly forget about it and it becomes very comfortable. I got a second one that did become uncomfortable after a day or so, but used a buffing wheel on its inside tip. Total comfort now! Just clean the inside of any metal insert with a Q-tip and alcohol. Remove 99% of the cotton fibers and it fits perfectly in the hole. Also tried a different type of metal insert; it was straight and somewhat "ribbed". No problem with the ribs themselves, but because they weren't curved, they didn't allow my willy to bend naturally, creating pressure on the urethra so I had to remove it. Yes, get a CURVED metal insert. The feeling of being totally controlled is wonderful.
Eventually it all starts to come together. Let the journey begin 👍😁
You would probably love the HT V5 Nub with a properly sized ring. The A271 was close for me but not good enough for long term use. I tried tons of mods, but they didn't work out. I threw it out along with all my Magic Locker stuff in Tuesday's garbage. Now I only have a Jailbird and 3 colors of HT V5 Nubs with 3 sizes of rings.
I’m in an MM JB now and it’s a great fit. Still working up the nerve to pee standing up but other than that I forget I am wearing it. Until i see the wrong (or right) meme from @Tom Allen then I remember.
The only thing about the JB is the horizontal crossbar that goes just under the urethra. They could probably make it without that bar, giving you better clearance for lining up.
