There are moments when being held feels genuinely good. I’m not talking about a standard hug; I mean having my cock cradled. Keeping the balls in place is lovely too, offering that sense of being looked after, but there’s something special when C unlocks me for five minutes or longer and simply holds it while she scrolls through her phone on mobile. She strokes absentmindedly as well. It feels like she’s holding my soul, caressing my heart, bringing peace to my whole body. Occasionally I have to ask her to stop, but overall C has the right rhythm and touch to keep me exactly where I want to be. I often wonder how I’d feel if this routine ended while staying caged. No more being held—I couldn’t imagine life without at least that comfort. Apologies Tom, along with many others here; I really don’t see what’s wrong with such a simple gesture? It only deepens my love and appreciation for her. Why do some partners rule out penis contact completely? And are you truly satisfied with that arrangement? On the happiness scale, wouldn’t both parties be better off having some of this on offer? People who care naturally want to give care, right?

Wouldn't both sides be happier with a bit of this on the cards. Caring people like to care yes? I don’t believe anyone sees it as harmful. We all have specific things that make us feel loved and cared for. I haven’t personally experienced exactly what you’re describing, but it sounds wonderful. We each do different things to convey that feeling. I’ll try to locate it later, but my signature used to include a quote along the lines of "do what is good for you".

> Why do some partners put penis contact totally off the menu? And are you really totally happy with this? Firstly, I get your question. I’ve never claimed that Mrs Edge and my approach is the only correct one. We both admit we lean toward the extreme. Secondly, total denial works for us personally. Mrs Edge loves having control; she made a choice regarding something on my body, which gives her an intense sense of authority. For me, it’s about her taking that control so I can live out those "hot permanent lockup" fantasies. Thirdly, this has been on my mind recently since we passed our five-year milestone. This level of denial is amazing—intense and erotic. Every day feels like Groundhog Day for me; I wake up with deep love and desire for my wife in a way that might not have happened if we’d chosen differently.
It isn’t completely off the table for us, though it happens rarely. I’m fine with that and think I could handle having none at all, although my fantasy side might be speaking there. I’ve reached a point where pleasing her gives me more gratification than being pleased by her does—at least in that regard. I suppose I share some of what @Tom Allen mentioned: I am aroused by her control and grateful for her willingness to participate.
So our better halves provide us with what we need rather than exactly what we want, and that dynamic shifts over time.
No. My wife does as she pleases, regardless of what I want or think I should want. I’ve learned to enjoy her attention.

I understand this, and it makes perfect sense. It’s clear C enjoys the control and likes that her locked-up status enhances her attractiveness to me. She feels better about herself by default, resulting in happiness neither of us could achieve without this setup. I do wonder if C would eventually be happier if I stayed locked permanently, and how I’d feel if she suggested it. I’m fairly confident I’d adapt well; things would remain good. The gap to bridge shrinks, as does the worry that something might go wrong. Or, of course, the opposite could happen: C decides we no longer need the cage. We believe these changes become ingrained over time, like shedding old habits and gaining new skills. So Tom, along with other permanently locked men here: Is this a form of self-conditioning? Did you have to adjust so that it became what *you* wanted as well? Has the cage become integral to your identity as a couple now, or could it be set aside without changing who you are?
