Personal Insights on Chastity and Locking

I’ve been following the questions and comments on this site for several years, so I wanted to share my perspective. Since I began practicing full-time chastity seriously a few years back, I have read extensively on the topic, including much of what is discussed here. I want to thank everyone who has answered my simple queries and helped me when I first started. These are MY personal feelings and observations; they do not necessarily apply as a universal rule or mean the same thing for everyone. I had previously read that chastity involves keeping your word to your keyholder just as much as being physically locked. Since starting, I have experimented with over forty different devices, including three belts, yet each one felt distinct. None of them performed quite how I needed them to feel. I never truly felt helplessly LOCKED into the units. My definition of being in chastity is being LOCKED and UNABLE to orgasm until permission is granted. My willpower isn’t strong enough for me to simply say “I won’t” and stick to it, especially after several weeks. I don’t want an option; rather, I desire the inability to have an orgasm while giving control to my keyholder and removing any temptation from myself. This distinction makes being locked in chastity more appealing than a mere pledge. I prefer knowing that I cannot remove the device on my own, even if stimulated by my keyholder while locked, without achieving an orgasm. This is what gives me the sensation of truly being LOCKED, rather than just having a device attached. It means only when my cock becomes useless for reaching an orgasm do I feel I have surrendered control and can no longer pull out to climax—this is the true meaning of chastity for ME. While several plastic units worked differently, they all allowed me to pull free even with a small base ring. Although plastics are generally more comfortable, they never felt truly secure to me; I always knew I could break them and escape if necessary, explaining it to my keyholder later. It was that lack of security that let them down. I have always desired to feel truly helpless when locked. This changed only after ordering and eventually modifying a glans ring unit, which proved impossible for me to remove or pull out from. I genuinely fear piercings of any kind, so those are not an option for me. For those who already have them, being able to lock yourself inside the tube or cage makes finding what you seek much easier than it is for us non-pierced individuals. I am not claiming anyone’s reasons or desires for living in chastity are incorrect; I simply state that for me, I want to be unable to change my mind or cheat and reach an orgasm without relying solely on my honor. This is something I could manage without the added burden of wearing a steel device around my genitals. I want my keyholder to have total control, with the device forcing me into inability until they choose otherwise. My interest lies not in permanent denial or never being unlocked, but in the hope that I will be allowed to climax eventually and absolutely cannot do so before then—this makes chastity enjoyable for me. During the first few weeks with this new unit, I deliberately tried pulling out, exerting enough force to potentially hurt myself. Now, however, I wear it without issue for months at a time. Having read that these units are easy to pick, one of my initial modifications was taking a stainless steel lock cylinder to a locksmith. He immediately asked, “How secure do you want it?” Smiling, I replied with as much security as possible. When he handed it back, the mechanism had changed from using three used tumblers to utilizing all six, plus an additional lower part that required special picks to open. Now, simple picking is more difficult. With the glans ring in place, even if I cut the main ring in half, I still cannot remove the cage. The glans ring sits neatly behind the outer ring of the cage head, and because the back section of the tube is solid steel, tampering while locked is hard. I ordered this cage/tube much shorter than my previous ones and with a smaller diameter. These adjustments made it far more effective at reducing erections; I no longer feel that ball-burning sensation from other devices. With this unit, even using a vibrator does not allow me to reach an orgasm; the glans ring becomes painful immediately upon strong vibrations, taking slightly longer only with milder ones before pain sets in. I plan to add cross bars to the front of the cage for further difficulty reaching the glans ring and protection for the penis head. I am also considering soldering a thin mesh over the caged end, welding the cross bars over it, which would eliminate all access while allowing self-cleaning without removing the unit so far. This setup has given me the feeling that my orgasms are fully out of control as long as my keyholder holds the only key. I have tried full belts; none were expensive, but one was heavily modified. Given my type of work, having a solid steel band around my waist is not practical. Having the cage or tube locked in a way that eliminates stimulation and prevents pull-outs creates an incredible feeling, driving me to wear the full belt as often as possible when permitted. Once bad planning forced me to wear a full belt with testicle cups for five days (extended by two more days at my keyholder’s request). I worked daily and found how limited my movements were due not only to the locked belt but also to the large plate attached to the tube and cups covering my crotch. Currently, I am designing a cable-type belt using the same front plate, hoping that lowering it slightly and reducing its width will make long-term wear feasible. I write this in hopes it might answer questions for others who have just started, showing them that not everyone shares the exact reasons. Whether one chooses to be chastised 24/7 or only when desired by their keyholder, even keeping a secret on special days out and about—it is all what they want. I can only say: read, research, and try as many different units as possible; most of mine cost under $20.00, often caught on sale. When I was ready and had a clear idea of what I wanted, I committed to custom devices, acquiring three over the next year and changing each design until finding my current unit. I still examine new units seeking novelty and designing builds for when interest wanes in my current ones. We often swap units either just to mix things up or as punishment, with both of us enjoying the different challenges each presents. So do not assume that because something does not work exactly as you hoped, there are no other options or you are any less unique than anyone else at their start. Mikel

Thank you for such an amazing and thoughtful post. I appreciate your focus on what you want from Chastity without implying that other people's approaches are wrong… well done!! I am curious about two things: is your glans ring device one that also includes a ring behind the balls, or is it solely for the shaft? Also, have you found a preferred material for the glans ring (steel versus rubber)? I ask because as I experimented with this concept, I used rubber ‘O’ rings but found them too small when erect, leading to black and blue spots… maybe it was sizing issues. I wonder if trying steel might resolve that. Anyway, thanks for sharing your knowledge; like you, I have been searching for years for a solution offering both security and comfort, though it has been elusive unless one is willing to get pierced.

If you visit the Badass Work Room Pro and look at model ba-34R, you can see the unit I wear. It is a ball trap device featuring a permanently mounted metal glans ring. You must be careful with shaft length for the glans ring; I guessed mine was too long, causing constant forward pull on the glans. The makers are willing to work with you; just allow time and pay attention to translator errors. I tested rubber O-rings for size then went up 2 mm from a snug but not "tight" fit for the metal one. Placing the ring at the back of the cage head where it aligned with the glans was perfect for me. It also eliminated visibility and tampering easily. My unit is much shorter than the picture shows; the full metal part is only about 6 mm long on top, and reducing the diameter seemed to hit perfection for cage size. You don't want excessive expansion around a metal ring near the glans. LOL Mine has a 10mm curved base ring which also seems perfect; no issues with it ever. I do not even get normal ball burn with this unit. If another is built, I will have them add security bars over the cage end to provide extra space for the tip when engorged. I had some initial chafing on the glans but used my daily cage for a few days after it became sore before returning. It took time to adjust but now works perfectly. I CANNOT pull out of it. Mikel

Just another thing I thought of, I acquired what I call a "Garter" with my units. It is basically elastic with snaps (available on several sites for about $8). I tried it and really like how it pulls the units against me to prevent dangling during the day, and discovered it helps keep everything aligned in longer units, making peeing much easier. I wear mine 24/7 now except when showering. That is another perk of the glans unit: if you are careful aligning everything upon insertion, it stays lined up so peeing becomes easy even standing. I don't need to turn on lights at night or wake my KH with the glans unit properly aligned; it makes life easier. LOL Mikel
