Pad At Last, A Proper Fit

I stopped using chastity in September because I was always having trouble finding a cage that fit and stayed put, which ended up costing me plenty. But over the weekend, I got back into it and picked up a CB6000 short to start testing. A hinged or two-piece base ring works best for me. Other devices with solid rings are either too narrow for me to slip through no matter what, or they aren’t snug enough and pop off easily when I get an erection. The solution seems to be using a smaller base ring that still stays tight without falling off, provided it has a hinge or splits into two pieces so I can fit in. I managed to squeeze into a 1 5/8 inch ring with just mild discomfort while flaccid and no circulation loss—similar to what the 1 1/2 inch ring did. However, after shaving and taking a cold shower, my skin was sensitive and the smaller ring chafed badly, so I moved up to a 1 3/4 inch size without it slipping off. I decided to test sleeping with it on to see if it would stay put overnight. Before that, I tried using the bathroom while wearing it and surprisingly had no trouble. The first half of the night was okay, but about four hours in, I woke up in significant pain as my erection started—a common problem for us all. Honestly, aside from the ache, I appreciated that it didn’t fall off, and after a short time, my erection went down and I fell back asleep. So, I finally have a cage that fits, but there are still some issues to address: pull-out is a major one. During this initial test, pulling out was easy with the 1 3/4 ring, somewhat harder with the 1 5/8 inch version, and very difficult when erect. Fortunately, my self-discipline kept me from yanking it off. Another detail is that the base ring rests about an inch away from my body. If the cage wasn’t large enough, my shaft would fold back behind the ring and pull out on its own; I believe this is called “turtling,” which ties into my next concern. My goal is 24/7 wear, but this current cage is too bulky to hide under clothes, especially since my job requires a specific uniform. If I switch to a smaller, more concealed cage, the turtling issue might return because the cage won’t be big enough to hold an erection securely. This happens regardless of how tight the base ring is; tighter just means more pain. I tried belts before, but most were too large for me since my waist is only about 28 inches. To wrap up, I need to solve pull-out, turtling, and concealment. Tonight, I’ll try wearing the 1 5/8 inch ring all night with a smaller spacer to see how it works out. I will update this thread on the results and any new issues or goals.
Go for a smaller cage along with a waist strap. The reduced size helps keep down the erection. The strap prevents it from drifting away when you get hard. I faced similar problems early on and used a shoelace as a solution. The cage I switched to was much shorter than my original one but still pushed forward. Eventually, I went even shorter, which stopped that pushing out effect. Not sure if this applies to everyone, but the inside of my ring matches my erection's shape and size perfectly. It slides all the way down snugly. Mine is also ergonomic with a hinge.
I've never had my cage slide off. Not even during erections that push it out. And not with the inverted cage I wear now either. The base ring sits nice and tight behind my balls. The front opening is quite narrow, which keeps the erection pushed inward properly. But yes, I do think a smaller and narrower cage works better.
