Tips for choosing a base ring

I’ve got a kink3d unit and felt like the standard 3-base ring was squeezing too much. The XD version with its 2-inch, 4-base ring sits quite nicely! There’s virtually no tightness unless it gets chilly. However, is jumping to a curved 3-base ring worth the effort? Could that reduce rubbing without needing to go up in size? I’m concerned about throwing money away on this upgrade, but it could be just right.

I really like curved rings myself. That said, we all have different body shapes and preferences, so any advice here is basically just sharing what has worked in our own cases. Go ahead and spend the cash to try one out - you might find yourself enjoying both styles and alternating between them depending on your mood.
