A quick query regarding the correct diameter for a chastity base ring

We are going through our second cycle of chastity. I have been locked up almost non-stop for nearly eight months. First, I spent about four months in a Kink3D resin model with the variation design, then switched to a Ternence hinged base ring (45mm) that lasted me over three more months. The hinge style has kept me quite comfortable overall, though honestly, it did bother me occasionally. Recently, I bought two additional Ternence rings: one 45mm and one 40mm closed design. The 45mm fits adequately but tends to slip downward a bit. When I tested the 40mm, however, it sat much better (my complexion stayed normal—no cool or blue tint) and kept everything secure. Unfortunately, my nighttime erection was quite painful during that trial, forcing me to switch back to the 45mm in the middle of the night. It appears just too snug when fully erect. I wish there were some mid-range sizes available, but currently, they don’t offer them. Any ideas? Best regards, D.

I see two possibilities here: 1) Continue using the 45mm but add a belt to hold it tighter against your body. You can find these belts on Amazon and other retailers. 2) Stick with the 40mm ring but opt for a smaller cage. If your nocturnal erections are particularly strong, it suggests the current cage is too big, letting the erection expand beyond its usual limits into something more intense.
