Hi everyone, I’m mostly a lurker here, but I’ve hit a point where I need some advice. I first started wearing a chastity device back in 2021, though there were quite a few breaks along the way. At this moment, I am looking to have a cage built specifically for me and hope it will last longer than just one week at a time. The HoD Hera in size M is what I currently own; overall, it has been the best fit I’ve used yet. To reiterate, my goal is to get something custom-fitted because with the Hera, I start feeling some soreness after a few days. The issue seems to be my foreskin getting caught or pinched at the openings when I become erect. I am still undecided on which vendor to choose for this purchase. The Blackout Device Evo has been on my radar, but since I live in Europe (please excuse my English:() rather than the US, I’m hesitant about placing such a costly custom order from overseas.
I own an Evo model; their version designed for those with foreskin works very well. It is compatible with a PA piercing, although it doesn't "lock" directly onto the ring of the piercing. Locating a manufacturer based in Europe will be tricky because most production happens in North America. To give you some locations: Bad Ass Workroom operates out of China, Steelwerks is located in Canada, and Steelworxx has a presence in Germany, though I personally don't love their design aesthetic.

I find myself struggling to grasp the design of that open-style head because it looks so... exposed? While I appreciate the Open head concept, I'm uncertain whether I would end up experiencing similar issues like rashes and pinching with this type as well. The thought of having a glans that isn't fully enclosed appeals to me; it makes me view my foreskin slightly less favorably.

Would seeing a photo of it in actual use help clarify things? I could swap my current cage for the Evo one to take some pictures for you here in Members. > The thought of having a glans that isn't fully enclosed appeals to me; it makes me view my foreskin slightly less favorably I agree with this perspective. My advice is to try out a cage specifically suited for your foreskin and decide what suits you best. It is entirely possible to be comfortable wearing one while keeping your foreskin. Of course, circumcision is an option: just remember that it is a permanent alteration, even more so than getting pierced. If you are completely sure that removing the foreskin is right for you, then go ahead and do it. However, don't rush into it. It would be unfortunate to realize later on that you actually preferred having your foreskin after all.
