LockedDaddyWolf At Last I Begin My Solo Chastity Path

It’s been a while since my last update here. But, life has shifted recently for me. I’ve spent years working on getting into chastity ever since I started dating someone who is a switch and introduced me to the lifestyle, even though I am typically Dom-leaning. I do have some switch tendencies myself. The hurdles were that I’m what you’d call a grower—6” when erect—but mostly an innie when flaccid. Plus, I carry heavy balls. On top of that, I had gained significant weight. This meant my glans would poke out the back end of most devices, even one with a nub design like HT’s. Also, before the V5 lineup launched, HT’s biggest ring size was 55mm, which is too tight for me. Once the V5 arrived, I grabbed the nub version with a 60mm ring. It fits without sliding out backward, but it does press into my fatty tissue. I figured I’d need to go with a PA (penile anchor) and have thought about it seriously. (Still weighing that option if I find the right partner.) After an unexpected week-long stay at our local hospital’s cardiac unit and spa because of heart failure, I’ve lost more than 140 lbs. There is still progress to be made. But, on Saturday I put my HT nub back on and wore it for two consecutive days without any trouble. My glans tucks up toward the rear rather than sliding out completely. To urinate, I just press inward against the cage to pop things forward again. The keys are currently secured in a pill bottle (I have plenty of those spares if anyone wants one for their own key holders—just shoot me a message!) along with a security tag attached. My objective is to wear it fully for a week before taking it off to clean and inspect everything. Because the Nub design encloses so much, I can’t leave it on indefinitely without cleaning. However, I’ve been eyeing similar models that offer more of an open-front cage structure. Fingers crossed.

Thanks everyone. The positive news is that I didn't require a stent. Despite being over 50 and raised on Southern fried cuisine where everything gets smothered in gravy, butter, or served on biscuits (I’ve always attempted to eat healthily). During the cardiac catheterization procedure, the doctor told me my arteries were "Beautifully Clean"! (Yes, you remain awake while they thread the catheter up through your arm into your heart.) It turns out my issue was a large blood clot in one of my heart chambers that we’ve been dissolving over recent months using anticoagulants. Still quite frightening though.

A few years ago I underwent a heart ablation for tachycardia. I had an excellent doctor who put me under completely and I’m glad they did that. While the equipment was still inside my heart, they shocked it to test whether the procedure worked or if further work was needed. It requires a specific type of person to handle what they do there; I am thankful he was involved. And yes, it is somewhat scary.

LDW, You missed out on a major Southern staple: bacon grease. Mrs. Ark cooks numerous dishes using it. It might not be the absolute best for your arteries, but it definitely enhances flavor. Stay strong. Looking forward to reading more from your journal and life updates. Ark

Well, since this thread serves as a journal entry, I did unlock briefly this morning for hygiene reasons and due to some chafing. The irritation seems manageable; I just applied some lotion. The HT Nub is so enclosed that it’s hard to clean thoroughly inside. After three days, the odor started building up. I have an Amazon knock-off version of the HT nub that I’ve been testing out. I drilled 3/4" holes on both sides for better airflow and easier cleaning without touching my pricey genuine HT. I locked back into place during lunch but am trying the cheaper model to see if it holds up longer between removals for washing. You did a nice job with the holes. I take mine off to shower every day. I don’t really consider it cheating as long as I don't play with myself while I’m in there. Cleanliness is important and I don’t want to ruin an otherwise fun hobby by smelling bad.

I’ve found that my non-metal cages have very poor ventilation. I have tried adding some extra holes in them myself.:-)

OK, I wound up giving up for a while. Trying other devices with no luck. I found a 3D print file, got some non-toxic Filiment and printed this one out. It fits on a base ring from a Crobra. I really didn't have to do much sanding. Did some wet sanding with some 240, 1000 then 2000 grit. So far, very comfy. Very easy to pee while wearing. And cleaning seems very easy with the water pick.

Well, I had a rough night of sleep from my chronic pain (Injuries from a bad car accident years ago). And, while still trying to get used to a new cage, I started laying there feeling "Soreness" - I think I must have been making it up in my mind. I got frustrated and took it off around 4am. When I got up and checked everything, there was no sign of redness, no sore places. I doublechecked the cage since it's 3D printed for burrs and rough spots by rubbing a tissue over it, nothing snagged. So, I put on some vaseline in all the places I thought I had felt soreness, locked it back on and I've had no problems so far today.

I wound up taking it back off yesterday. Turns out the soreness I was feeling was real. Even though I couldn't see it the first time, this time, I found a spot rubbed raw. I really just don't think there is anything out there, shy of a piercing based system, I can use. And, with all these blood thinners I'm on, I'm worried to even think about that.

I could never get on with plastic cages or vaseline type stuff. However ive been using metal cages for a long time and after experimenting found a hand cream that works for me. The problem I found was lots of creams go sticky on the skin and vaseline or silicon based reacted with my skin after a while of continuous use. Took a while of experimenting to get what worked for me. Btw Ive never paid more than £30 for a cage, but I do look carefully at the design and apparent quality before buying.

Honestly, if there was a metal cage that worked for me, I would prefer it. I've bought dozens and none work.
