Sorry to be just another beginner dealing with problems on my budget-friendly Chinese gadget. It helps knowing I’m not the only one in this situation. This is device the I bought from DHgate. I've had catheters before. Although I haven't used urethral inserts myself, the sensations you described sound very similar to what I felt when peeing with a foley catheter or during intermittent catheter insertion.
