Oh no! I keep receiving community emails about updates. If my secret gets out, it’s all over for me. I have to constantly check and delete them. My partner already spotted my avatar that I foolishly saved straight to the desktop. I didn’t explain very well—thank goodness I wasn’t doing anything worse! She is open to being caged, but I don’t think she’d approve of me posting on this site. I thought I had disabled emails in my preferences. Please help out. This isn’t exactly the subtle dynamic I was hoping for!:)

Hello! Go to the top of the forum page and look for 'watched threads'. You'll see a list there of all the threads you are currently watching. Click on each one; just above the first post is an option on the right side labeled 'unwatch'. Select that for every thread you want to stop following. Also, keep in mind that whenever you reply to someone else's thread, it automatically adds itself to your watch list. So make sure to check this setting each time you participate.

I believe you can also head over to your profile under Browsing Preferences and choose not to automatically watch every thread you post in—or stop receiving emails for them. Many people here likely use a separate email address specifically for these kinds of activities;)
