I know the CS-100 has been discussed quite a bit here, but I wanted to share my own experience so far and see if anyone could offer advice on achieving a good fit.
The CS-100 Test-It arrived yesterday after six weeks of waiting. My first impression is that it’s beautifully made, but getting it on isn’t easy at all. After wrestling with it for a while—along with some cursing, hand cramps, and grazes—I finally managed to secure it. I figured if the belt is just as hard to take off as it was to put on, it must be THE most secure device available.
I spent a full day locked up without any problems. Before bed, I took it out to tighten the belt, and again in the morning to extend the adjustable loop fully, which helped relieve some soreness under my balls that had started overnight.
I really like how the tube warms up; so far, it’s comfortable enough to mostly forget about 90% of the time. It’s also much better for spooning than the sharp CB-6000. However, I’m not a huge fan of the gold plate on the front of my locking block, with its two roses and “Chastity Steel” in fancy script. If I keep the belt, that plate will have to go.
I am slightly disappointed because pulling out seems fairly easy. I’ve read that bending the tube and loop can improve security, but without a vice, I’m completely unsure how to do it myself—the setup is quite solid. Hopefully, this resolves itself when my proper custom tube arrives; I ordered the cutaway version so it sits closer to my body.
After just over 24 hours, I think I notice some chafing at the base of my penis, but I won’t know for sure until I remove the belt later tonight. A smaller diameter tube might fix this. However, I’m starting to doubt whether ordering the ring opening on my custom tube was wise, as it could potentially cause even more chafing.
Questions for Other Wearers I’d love to hear how tight other wearers keep their belts? Right now, I can fit four fingers between my skin and the steel, but I struggle to imagine having it much tighter than that. With some wiggling, the belt moves up and down by three or four inches. I’m not sure if it’s meant to rest on my hips, waist, or somewhere in between. Where do you all wear yours? Also, any tips for bending this heavy piece of metal without a vice would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Henry, I’m a big fan of this belt and have talked about it extensively here and on Fetlife since buying mine long ago. The belt definitely needs to be tight and works best when set while lying down, as that’s when you appear slimmest. I had to adjust the angle of both the tube and the scrotum bow myself. Like you, I never owned a vice, but here is how I managed it: I used long-handled adjustable plier grips. Holding one end of each bow on a flat surface with one hand, I held the other ends with the grips in my second hand, bending them slightly until they suited me. Then I did the same to the tube bracket so it matched. The length of the handles makes applying leverage much easier during the bending process. Do you wear the belt with the liner fitted? I removed mine and lightly sanded the edges with fine sandpaper to remove any sharp spots, making the belt significantly more comfortable. It also warms up like the tube does when it reaches body temperature, giving a really warm feel unlike sticky silicone that can get sweaty. I have worn my version for 10 to 12 days at a time without removal, which seems to be about the maximum I can manage before cleaning becomes an issue. The belt itself has been fine with no major problems; it’s just a matter of making minor adjustments bit by bit to find the perfect fit. I apply some Gun Oil silicone lube inside the tube and smear a little around the scrotum bow before inserting my flaccid penis. I add a bit more silicone to the bow during the day if needed, which prevents rubbing (though remember to adjust the bow after securing the belt). Assuming I am flaccid, fitting the belt takes no more than 60 seconds. It only takes longer if I have started to grow; in that case, I almost squeeze all the air out of my penis just to slip it over. The best method for me is: fit the waist belt around me, slide the tube over my penis, hook the bracket onto the brass peg, then turn the cradle section sideways and pull both testicles through as far as possible. Next, push the bow upward slightly to hold them in place, maneuver the cradle over the cock tube section, turn it back to position, push down on the brass fixing, and presto—locked again.
Thanks for the help. I actually chose this device after reading your reviews here! I tried the belt with the liner straight out of the box but got grazed instantly, even though the edges felt relatively smooth already. (I had asked FF if they could send a pre-smoothed belt. They said no, so I wondered if they might have done it anyway.) Last night’s inspection didn’t go well; obviously, I was wearing the belt too high because I ended up with a nasty crescent-shaped cut about an inch from where my penis enters the tube (I could feel it being pulled upward while the belt was on). I’ve read elsewhere that the locking pin should be positioned 4cm from the top of the penis. However, I reckon I would need to loosen the belt to get it there correctly, and I want to sort out these basics before buying long-handled pliers to boost security. The belt is currently off while everything heals. My hips feel like they’ve been bashed with a mallet! I knew some fettling was needed before getting a good fit, but right now, it feels like I haven’t even started! I’ll give it another try once things heal up. However, if the fit hasn't improved dramatically by the end of the two-week test period, there is a strong chance I will send it back to Germany.
The 4cm measurement is correct; that’s what they ask you to measure when ordering the belt. This distance runs from the top of the shaft to roughly where the brass screw sits. No matter how smooth the belt looked initially, the edges will be sharp and need smoothing with fine wet or dry paper. However, if you are planning to return it, I suggest leaving that step until you decide what you want to do. Remember, like anything of this nature, you are placing something rigid around a part of your body that isn’t used to having it there. It takes time for everything to "man up" and get accustomed to the device. Too many people expect to dive right in from day one, which is quite rare even with handmade, made-to-measure devices.
It’s a shame about your experience, knight. I remember us chatting about this a while back. Strange that if Stefan at Felix can notice the issue, they cannot solve it for you? As you know, I have never had that problem with either of my tubes. Is there no one here who could make alterations to the tube for you?
Hi, 1. For maximum security with the CS-100, you definitely need to add the thong wire. It keeps the front much tighter against your body, even when lying on your back. 2. To avoid that unpleasant sticking of the silicone lining, I use cotton covers which are available from FF as well. You get two covers, so you can swap them quickly during opening periods and wash the used one while you remain locked. In theory, you should be able to change the cotton covers even when locked, but I found it a really exhausting task. 3. In the beginning, I had significant trouble with the top weld of the standard penis tube. Erections caused a very painful wound right at the bottom of my shaft. It was so bad that I couldn’t wear the belt for several days until the wound healed. I had Lars from FF modify the tube. The top is no longer round; it has taken on a more oval shape, similar to tubes like those from Neosteel. This leaves a bit more room in the penis when erected but solved the problem with that sour cut in the skin. Hope this helps anyone reading.
That’s interesting; maybe that was what knightservant experienced?
