Hi there! I could use some assistance. It’s a bit embarrassing to ask, but does anyone know what it signifies when you receive an alert that someone is now following you? I spotted a list on my profile page and noticed I can also begin following other members myself. What additional details do we get or share by being “Followers”? I’m aware this isn’t stalking! It’s just, what exactly is it then? I haven’t been able to locate the answer in the help documentation. Appreciate your help ahead of time!

From my perspective, they can see where you've visited and what content you've shared. Not a whole lot more than that really. That's how it appears to me, though I'm also relatively new here.
