Hi there, It works really well for me personally. Mine started as a PA-5000 but I’ve tweaked it quite a bit over time. Since I own several of them, I have plenty of practice modifying and wearing these devices without issue. My piercing has been fine since the procedure was done at least five years prior to my experimenting with PA-5000s or increasing the hole size.
I use a tube with 1” diameter, which makes it fit as snugly as possible to minimize movement around the piercing point. I shortened the length of the tube because if it’s too long, you might run into problems when your penis retracts inward, pulling on the jewelry. Conversely, a tube that is too short won’t support the weight evenly, leading again to tension on the piercing and making wear less comfortable.
I took out the cam lock for better hygiene, which also reduced size and weight slightly. It’s light and very comfy overall, though getting erect can be quite uncomfortable inside it. Cleaning is straightforward; I can wash both the interior and exterior thoroughly even while wearing it. My routine involves washing at least three to four times daily, with one deep clean each day. Next up might be finding or crafting a version in steel of similar dimensions, but this setup has had little impact on my physical lifestyle so far.
I should mention my longest stretch with these devices is only six weeks without removal. If nothing goes wrong, I plan to stay in this one for an incredibly long time—only time will confirm that!

It secures the hook more firmly than the original cam <lock>lock</lock>, and allows water or urine to pass through freely.<br/><br/>I rebuilt the device, including the hook and washer, customizing it around my anatomy. The only downside is that I’ll need to break the mechanism open to get the whole thing off.
