Full Belts discussion

Two quick questions for those who know their way around:

1. Could you share your thoughts on the new unlined waistbands compared to the lined versions? I’ve worn the lined ones (they’re 1.5mm thick), but haven’t tried the newer unlined ones which are thicker at 3mm… what’s the difference? What are the pros and cons?
2. Regarding snap locks versus Abus locks. How easy are they to pick? And is it worth giving up some security for a slimmer profile? thanks.

Hi bill_boy01, I'm currently using a neosteel arch with the masterpiece ("liner-less") waistband. I haven't tried those thinner, lined versions myself, but I can share what I know from my own setup! The unlined waistband is fantastic... extremely sturdy and totally unbendable while wearing it. This is definitely good news... though you do have to shape the belt perfectly to your body during that "break-in period"! It's been about a month for me, and I'm still making minor adjustments here and there... but it feels much more comfortable than I ever expected. Another plus of this liner-less design (as you put it) is that without a separate liner layer, there are no disposable components to wear out or replace, and no rubbery material sticking to your skin. So far, I haven't even needed lotion or lube under the waistband (though I definitely use them in the penis tube)... and at this pace, I might not need it after all! As for choosing between the snap lock and Abus padlock options, I went with the Abus padlock instead. From what I've heard from others and gathered myself... the snap mechanism only needs two prongs pressing inward to release it. It doesn't work like a traditional key that aligns tumblers inside a cylinder or anything complex. Because of this simpler design, I decided against it. I figured if things get desperate and I'm horny while my wife is out, I wouldn't want the only thing holding me back from relief to be just one or two paperclips! That said, don't worry too much about size; that padlock still has a very low profile! It's hardly noticeable under clothes or jeans, even if you're specifically looking for it. If your main concern is how slim it looks, I can't see either option being an issue. Let us know if anything else comes up or what choice you make! dixiewrecked
