I’ve always been submissive and have dabbled with the concept of chastity periodically over time. Roughly twelve months ago, a Domme friend mentioned the Birdlocked Neo V2 in a comment, pointing out that it seemed like an appealing option for a male chastity device. Her enthusiasm was enough to convince me to take my first genuine step into wearing one. I purchased the Neo and later added two Mini models (sizes 40 and 45).
The initial experience with the Neo was thrilling but eventually faded into letdown. Although it felt reasonably secure and comfortable, I discovered that it would slip off after a day or so of wear. That wasn’t acceptable. Disheartened, I stepped away from chastity for several months before deciding to try once more. I chose the Birdlocked Mini 40, hoping that since I generally liked the Neo’s design, a tighter fit might improve things.
I wore the Mini 40 for about seven days until the discomfort became intolerable. Upon removal, my testicles were noticeably swollen, and it took over a week to go down completely. The size was too small and restricted circulation. Once again, not ideal. Still determined but perhaps lacking in insight, I ordered a Mini 45. It seemed perfect when first applied, yet after twenty-four hours, it slipped out.
I have decided to stop using Birdlocked products because they simply don’t suit my body shape. Here are the pros of the Birdlocked devices I tested:
- Excellent construction with premium silicone
- Great comfort during wear
- The tight fit gives a nice “captured” sensation Here are the cons:
- Hard to apply properly
- Sizing can be inconsistent (hit or miss)
- Masturbation is possible while wearing it (requires some effort) Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Birdlocked devices. If you do decide to try one, keep in mind that they come as a single size option; either it fits you perfectly or it doesn’t. Unlike other brands with multiple rings, if the fit isn’t right, you are stuck purchasing another device. Ultimately, I spent over $400 USD and ended up with three devices that failed to meet my requirements. For that price tag, a custom-fit alternative would have been a better value.
