Hello everyone! I’m new to chastity and currently using a CB 6000s. I’m trying to nail down the right sizing and comfort levels. After spending a few days experimenting with different options, I managed to get my (high/tight/grower) anatomy to work for me. Eventually, I realized I could last a full day wearing the 2” base ring at its maximum spacer size, but it would pop out by evening. Later that night, just before bed, I tried switching to a tighter base ring and woke up with numbness, so I took it off.

The next day, I stuck with the 2” base ring but experimented with smaller spacers. The smallest one felt a bit uncomfortable, while the next size up was fine. Deciding not to overdo it, I chose the second-largest spacer for sleeping and applied a generous amount of lube (coconut oil this time; I’ll switch to silicone next time). That worked as my first full night in the device.

That night wasn’t painful, though very intense—I felt like I was somewhat erect most of the time. However, when morning came, the front part of my scrotum (where the cage presses against it) felt raw and burning, with what looked like a fluid-filled blister just under the surface. It’s been out for two days now; the skin is healing but remains sensitive and slightly itchy.

So…what next? When should I start wearing it again, and how should I approach sizing from here?

Quick sizing summary: 2” base ring with max gap: Comfortable, but prone to slipping out. Also, two fingers fit inside the ring, which suggests it might be theoretically too big. 1 7/8” base: Experienced some nighttime numbness, though I’m open to trying this size again. 1 3/4” base: Uncomfortable. 2” base with smallest gap: Uncomfortable. 2” base with second-smallest gap: Okay for a few hours during the day. 2” base with second-largest gap: Comfortable, but caused burns or possible blistering overnight.

As someone new to this, wearing a device can be quite a shock to your bits. So far, you're handling it well; just needs some tweaking. If the 2" base ring with the second-largest gap is comfortable for you, stick with that setup while your parts adjust and stretch out. As long as it's functioning properly, there's no need to change much. The main job of the base ring is keeping the device on your cock. If it's too tight, it can restrict blood flow and cause choking sensations, so don't push for maximum tightness. The spacers are there to keep your nuts from escaping. Again, if they're too tight, restricted blood flow causes pain. Regarding lube: apply it frequently at the beginning of this journey. Use silicone or a petroleum-based antibacterial healing lube on the base ring to stop chafing and sores from forming. Here are two specific things to address the problem area where your cock meets your scrotum: 1) Allow yourself to heal completely before putting the device back in. Don't rush it! 2) Lube that junction just as often as you do the base ring. 3) Check the cage interior for smoothness. There might be a rough spot irritating the sensitive penile skin. You can sand down any imperfections with fine sandpaper. Good luck, and please keep us updated.

Thanks for the advice! I've heard mixed messages: some say "lube everywhere constantly," while others suggest keeping everything else super dry and only lubing under the scrotum. There seems to be a connection between moisture and sores or general ickiness. Any thoughts on this?
