Hello! I am a newcomer to chastity and have long wanted to give it a go, so I’ve been looking at different gadgets on AliExpress since that seems like a solid starting point. Has anyone purchased any of the ones listed below from there? Could you share your thoughts?

Steer clear of chromed gadgets. Go for Stainless Steel instead. Plastic and silicone options often suffer from smell issues because they are porous and tend to hold onto odors. You might also want to check out EBay and DHgate. For a beginner, I suggest starting with a CB knockoff unit. Regarding cost, the CB units come in various ring sizes so you can find one that fits properly. Once you've nailed down the right size for your ring, then look at metal devices. Everything GT-CB6000 mentioned is spot on. Seek out a genuine steel gadget. If hinges are essential for you, expect to purchase your own silicone tubing to properly cover the hinge areas (available on Ebay). Keep away from plastic gadgets as they can trap moisture which leads to smell and fungal infections. Choose a steel model with adequate ventilation... not excessive, just enough to let things breathe and make washing easier.

I own chromed CB-6000s that I ordered from AliExpress. It is quite heavy but fits nicely. The two main issues I've encountered are (1) sleeping. Its weight causes it to slide forward during nighttime erections, and (2) the tube has caused blisters, primarily on my glans. This is reportedly due to a chrome allergy. Interestingly, I don't get blisters elsewhere where the metal touches skin. Since I use lots of lube, I doubt friction is the culprit, though it could be. The blisters clear up after wearing nothing for a few days, although they look quite strange in the meantime. I now own and wear genuine CB-6000s with chrome over polycarbonate. No more blisters. It fits perfectly and weighs much less. They aren't inexpensive, but if you plan to wear it around the clock like I do, it's worth the investment for comfort.
