Hi there, I’ve run into an issue that I haven’t been able to resolve yet. Occasionally, when using chat, new messages show up in separate boxes like the one attached. My question is: how can I turn off these somewhat irritating notifications? This is particularly bothersome because not every message displayed as a notification actually shows up inside the catbox… Thank you, Astarte

I notice you're using both Chrome and Firefox. Does this happen with both browsers (you might also want to check IE) since it could be a browser-specific issue. Dianne

Yes, the behavior is identical on both.

Safari does it too, but honestly those popup chats don't bother me. Besides, I'm not a woman being hounded every two f'ing seconds. Good luck sorting this out.

I deal with this too - it's been happening for ages - so I just ignore it.

This kind of thing should probably be flagged to Admin since it looks like a site-wide issue, though I'd assume it's low priority. Dianne
