Hello, I recently purchased the CB6000, primarily due to its fitting options. After a period of trial and error, I believe I’ve found my ideal fit - it’s the second largest ring paired with the shortest spacer. I tried smaller rings, but they tended to pinch and chafe my scrotum. I gathered some helpful info by searching this forum, though I didn’t find any discussion about wearing a CB device 24/7. My GF wants me locked for more than just occasional playtime; she’s becoming increasingly serious about it. A few minutes ago, I locked myself in for the night, hoping to achieve my first full 24-hour lockup if everything goes smoothly. Are there any long-term CB-device users here? I’d love your thoughts on how you maintain hygiene and what nighttime is like, as well as how long you go without removing it.
Many people (myself included) begin with a CB-X as their first chastity device. I've used the 2000, 6000, and 6000s models. They serve well as starter devices, but if you decide to get serious about chastity, sooner or later you'll likely want to upgrade to a steel cage. CB6K devices can be tricky to keep clean in, often requiring a more fiddly hygiene routine. Additionally, being plastic, they do break, especially with long-term wear. So enjoy it and have fun, but I wouldn't recommend them for the very long haul. For instance, I spent a year in a Mature Metal Jailbird wearing 24/7 with no releases. People certainly manage to last longer in plastic, but it requires significantly more effort. There's nothing quite like lying on your stomach in bed and hearing that 'crack' as something gives way—a risk you don't have with steel.
As @Billus mentioned, for serious wear a steel cage is necessary. I also own a Jailbird since I am on a 24/7/365 lock down regimen. Honestly, I wouldn't even consider long-term denial in a CB6K because the hygiene routine would be nearly impossible.
Like Chris said—I started with a CB and then moved to a Jail Bird. Once you realize you can handle it—get ready for the long haul.
I began my journey with a CB6KS as my first device. I managed to wear it almost around the clock (removing it every 3-4 days for cleaning) for about two months before switching to a Queen's Keep. The QK is MUCH easier for 24/7 wear; I don't even feel compelled to remove it for cleaning, as I can clean around it (though shaving is another story).
I am wearing a CB6S and can go three to four days before needing quick removal for a thorough cleaning. My current issue—and something that suggests I might need a custom metal device—is ball slip when it gets cold. The ring I use with the CB6S is good, but the smaller option feels too tight. The KH is starting to demand longer lock up times and wants me to get measured.
I have a CB6K and attempted 24/7 wear twice. Both times I only lasted three days before my balls developed what appears to be a "wearing-in sore." Apparently, the skin under your testicles needs to stretch slightly to get accustomed to the plastic ring, so I've been waiting for it to heal up to try again for longer periods. So don't panic if you experience some discomfort when first attempting 24/7 wear. Use plenty of silicone lube and reapply as much as needed!
I never had a problem wearing it for weeks at a time... I just used to take baths to clean up and often did so in the shower. I placed a latex sleeve over the bottom of the hinge to stop chafing (made from an old glove). It was a great starter solution, and while I sometimes revert back to it for variety, I am mainly using a metal one now... I would love a full belt but finances are ruling that out at the moment.
The key points have already been mentioned by others and are important enough to re-iterate: - Get the size right—for me, it was the X-large ring with the smallest spacer, downsized to the CB6000S. - Apply lots of silicon lube to ALL contact points—especially around the ring. This makes it incredibly comfortable, almost to the point where you forget it's there (or did I just go numb down there?). Remember to reapply after showering or bathing. - Hygiene is crucial. Daily showers morning and evening help greatly; using a cotton bud (Q-Tip) with toilet paper through the end slot helps wipe clean after going. A sympathetic keyholder who allows an unlocked, supervised shower every 3-4 days is ideal. Like others here, I am ready to migrate to a steel cage next. My current favorite is the Mature Metal Watchful Mistress.
I have been wearing a CB6000S 24/7 for nearly a month now. What everyone says about getting the right ring and spacer size is true. I started with both wrong and experienced painful burning in my scrotum. Once I adjusted to a smaller ring and larger spacer, everything settled down, and I find it quite comfortable now. I spend extra time cleaning during showers and use a Q-tip to apply Vaseline mixed with cocoa butter wherever the ring touches skin. Every five days, I remove it for ten minutes to thoroughly clean the CB and shave my male parts. Since I am self-locking, if there was any significant discomfort, you can be sure I would have taken it off. Actually, I'm kicking myself for not starting sooner. It feels very natural; after that first week, my dick seemed to accept its new home's size and settled in snugly.
I've been wearing the CB6000 using the largest ring for a week now. I shower daily (my keyholder/wife removes my lock and places a small zip tie to keep me locked in). I have changed the spacer still trying to figure out the most comfortable combination of ring and spacers. I haven't had any major pain or concerns.[[Image: 14448943_10207005081427469_1514328194757612182_n.jpg]](the referenced community page)
