Holytrainer, Carrara and numerous other European vendors of chastity belts. Do they really sell enough units to build a substantial fortune while completely ignoring anyone who raises concerns before buying??
Forgive my bluntness because I’m genuinely frustrated. As a buyer, I always strive to keep my messages brief and tidy, editing the content in hope that it prompts a response. Yet, they often just don’t answer. Carrara hasn’t replied to ANY of my emails since early April. I tell them I want a belt, am ready to pay, with no further questions. Please propose an invoice so I can settle up and have something concrete for tracking. He simply ignores me. Completely. After calling him internationally about 100 times, someone finally picked up last week (actually nearly ten days ago) and said, “Yes Yes Yes, I’m driving, just returned from Russia; ok I will reply to your mails ASAP.” Ten days have passed. No email at all, not even in the Junk folder. Pure nonsense. A total waste of my time. I really don’t get their mindset. Buying feels like begging here. It’s quite common in Europe. As mentioned, Holytrainers and Carrara are prime examples. Neosteel is better, but you usually wait a month for feedback. And latowski replied to me after seven months stating that “you have to come personally for measurement.” I’ve actually forgotten the rest.
Your communication style might be putting them off. It's certainly doing so with me as well.
A hundred phone calls would look like spam to me. It seems there is a common thread here: buyers who are reasonably good communicators versus manufacturers lacking the foresight to reply in a timely manner. To my mind, the one who answers the phone gets the order. So manufacturers get their proverbial act together regardless of how pleasant it feels for us. Xx Wendy
