Hi everyone, I’ve been exploring the chastity lifestyle for a few months now, and last week I persuaded my girlfriend to buy me just to test it out and see if it fits our dynamic. It got here yesterday, but initially, I couldn’t even put it on because I was already semi-hard and the tube is quite narrow. Once I finally managed to get in, it wasn’t very secure either; sometimes it pinches my skin and doesn’t really stop me from getting an erection at all—my erect penis just pushes it out.

Then that first night, a nocturnal erection snapped the plastic tube right down the middle—I guess my dick is tougher than I realized!

To cut to the chase: I’m not ready to quit chastity yet, so I need another device. I live in Germany and am willing to spend around 100€ for one that fits well and stays secure. Metal or plastic works fine. My flaccid length is about 10-11cm, and it goes up to 19cm when hard. Any advice? Let me know if I missed anything!

Best regards

Most guys begin with a genuine CB device because, as you've discovered, the budget plastic imports often show their price point. However, even authentic CBs can crack since they are made of plastic. Some people opt for silicone models, but these aren't always very secure and may trap moisture against the penile skin ('breathing' issues), leading to dead skin buildup and hygiene problems. The optimal path is usually a custom metal device. It might cost more upfront, so you could start with a CB and upgrade later if needed.

Hello!!!! Ah... My favorite subject!!! I’ve stated before that starting with an affordable device, tweaking the fit until you’re happy, and then upgrading to a custom piece is a solid approach... But it can add up if you end up buying multiple devices... In fact, sometimes spending on several cheap ones costs more than going straight to custom!! You likely won't recoup much money from budget options, so this path requires careful navigation... I’ve mentioned before looking at Chinese brands like those on DHgate and/or Amazon. Specifically, look for models with hinged rings and cages constructed from concentric bands welded together... My top pick is the A080 (search it on the sites I listed). I prefer this one because you can adjust the cage length by altering the gaps between the rings... Either tighter or longer!!! This is a HUGE advantage... Steer clear of Chinese devices with solid rings and guide pins on the back. These are chrome-plated and may not hold up well over time.... Another argument supports going custom immediately. Why? Because if it doesn't work out, you can often sell it to get most or all your money back!!! Custom devices retain their value. However, you still need a buyer eventually!! And there will likely be some delay between selling and acquiring the new one. Of course, you could buy the new device first and wait to list the old one... Or send it back for adjustments... But that can get expensive too... My personal preference is the gradual approach because I’m naturally cautious. As long as a device allows modification, you can work toward finding a great fit that might be excellent on its own or serve as an ideal template for custom fabrication... Metal beats plastic in terms of durability and feel. You’ve already experienced one of plastic's weaknesses!!! Plastic also requires diligent hygiene care since it gets smelly quickly!! Metal tends to be more comfortable... And offers better security if that’s your priority...! All devices can be escaped from... But metal takes significantly more effort to remove. The feeling of wearing a steel cage is deeply satisfying for those who value being locked in!! So.... There you go!!! I’m always open to discussion, so feel free to message and/or PM if you want to chat!!! Hope this assists! With warmest regards, J.

You live in Germany.. buy one locally. There's Steelwoorx with fantastic devices and excellent service; there's also Gerecke... Just search Google!

@Aoilioa I think my advice is spot on: try metal but buy a cheap test cage first. Until you actually wear one, you won't know what suits you. Regards, Lucy x

Thanks for the replies! So plastic is out of contention. As for metal, after this first cage I don't trust budget brands anymore (even models like A080), plus they look quite small. The from Steelworks looks promising; it's pricey but that was to be expected. Besides that, could you share your thoughts on this specific cage? Finally, I'm also considering a device with a dilator/penis plug. Not a large one—it’s not some special fantasy of mine—I just imagine the sensation of a snug cage combined with a penis plug would be quite unique. I've never tried this before and want to ask how practical it is, what the infection risk is for 24/7 wear, and if it improves overall security.

In that case, I'd recommend using the site's search function: The referenced community page]=12

Remember... in chastity, smaller IS better! I can vouch for the A080 (otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it!! o_O_) The steel quality is good and I never had issues once I fixed the hinged ring.... The A080 belongs to a 'family' of devices manufactured in China.... They are SERIOUSLY good starting points..... And if you're worried about size... MODIFY it! You can push the rings apart or together! Remember... The main goal here is achieving a good FIT... So being able to adjust is an invaluable feature you simply don't get with solid designs... They might be 'cheap', but they aren't 'trash'!!! There's also a wide variety of designs within this 'family'... The key is choosing one with a hinged ring... These are made of steel and NOT chrome plated... They come in different base ring sizes to help you find the best fit... The Chinese devices often 'appear' small but aren't actually... There’s usually detailed measurement descriptions for these models, so don’t be misled.... If you get the BON4M (and by all accounts it's a solid piece of equipment!) what will you do if it doesn't fit...? You'll spend... about... $30 to $40 on a Chinese cage.... And maybe $200 on a BON4M...? Granted... You’ll likely have better luck recouping your money with the BON4M... But you can’t modify its size if it doesn't fit... So... good luck in your search!! Please keep us updated! With warmest regards. J.

Okay, wow, thank you;) You're right, I'll try an A080 then. Just to confirm,

member_4ccc64f3aa 9 Sept 2026 #10

That's the one!!!! Just make sure you measure for your base ring because you can only choose one to match with the cage. You should be able to use your current plastic device rings as a reference...? Extras for the A080 are available at cost... ALSO... Check eBay... You might find one locally for roughly the same price but with faster shipping! Good luck!! J.
