I recently picked up a CB6000s and have experimented with various spacers and base rings. I discovered that the largest included base ring paired with the second-largest spacer offers the best mix of comfort, tightness, security, and ease of movement. However, even when flaccid, my testicles get chilly after just a few minutes. They don’t change color; they simply feel cool to the touch. I suspected the original base ring might be too small, so since it was already the largest option provided with the device, I ordered extra-large rings directly from the manufacturer. Even then, any ring that prevents my genitals from slipping through easily causes coldness in my testicles, and using the biggest spacer leaves them positioned right between the base ring and the cage.
I had been eager to wear this chastity belt for extended periods, but after reading discussions here and on other forums, I’m slightly concerned that this persistent coolness might have long-term consequences for my testes.
The Holy Trainer offers a completely different feel compared to the CB. The ring isn't just a simple circle; it curves inward toward the body. However, the gap between the ring and the device is fixed with no adjustability. Personally, I find them incomparable: my CB felt like it was sawing off my testicles (I have two scars to prove it), whereas the HTv2 fits perfectly. I put mine on November 12th and haven't looked back since. I've run while wearing it, swum, done Yoga/Pilates-style exercises, walked the dog, gone shopping, and simply lived my life without any issues. It may not be the most secure device out there, but it keeps me motivated to stay locked. I will never buy a CB device again.
After reading numerous reviews on the HTv2, it really seems like a reliable choice. My only hesitations are that the HTv2 costs slightly more than the CB6000s, and since I've already spent money on the CB without getting it to work properly, I'm reluctant to invest in an HTv2 as well. Additionally, there are no local resellers for the HTv2 (I live in New Zealand), so I have to cover extra duty and customs fees. I worry that the HTv2 might present the same issues as the CB6000s, and there's no easy way for me to test it beforehand.
That is a common issue with all these devices, made worse by your location. It really depends on how determined you are. If you are serious about chastity then the cost is worth it; if you aren't sure yet, that's something to consider. How much does customs charge into NZ?
I believe my last calculation showed duty costs of around $130 NZD (86 USD) when ordering an HTv2 from Keptforher. So I end up paying almost 50% more for the HT.
Ouch!
