Hello! It’s been ages since I last posted here, sadly:( but I’ve returned to seek some open advice.

Context: My partner and I are either currently finishing or have recently finished our graduate studies. Back in undergrad, we tried out chastity by picking up a budget-friendly CB replica on eBay; it seemed like good value for a first attempt. That one eventually split right down the middle, and with various life events occurring, we stepped away from chastity play for a bit. Now that I’m settled into a real job, we’re keen to re-enter the scene and upgrade his gear.

We’d love your thoughts on how best to proceed:

• We aim to move up to a full belt eventually. Is it more cost-effective long-term to purchase a cage now and add the belt later, or should we just go for the all-in-one setup immediately?
• Our old inexpensive device had trouble with pullouts. We know this can’t be entirely eliminated, but which cages handle it best? (He doesn’t have a PA piercing and isn’t looking to get one.) The broader “ring” design on Birdlocked models looks promising, though I’m not an expert yet…
• Metal versus plastic or low coverage against high coverage aren’t major concerns for us. Aesthetically, however, I find myself leaning toward the Birdlocked and HolyTrainer options.
