To clear things up, your description states that the ID was the only measurement you were confident about, yet it is listed as 1.5" OD. I take this to mean the cage's outer diameter is what matters, implying an inner diameter of 1.25", but I just wanted to double-check. Thanks.

When I use that caliper, the reading comes in just under 1.50"
