She got shy, just as she does when I try to bring up topics like that for discussion. She said she would think about it and then left me hanging for about a week. When I brought it up again, she was still uncertain; she said yes, then no, then back to unsure. I find that when discussing difficult matters face-to-face is hard, writing her an email helps; I express myself much better in text.
