I picked up the idea from a few reviews that full chastity belts with waistbands positioned above the hips tend to offer better security for slimmer individuals. Conversely, those with broader frames might find this style less secure, with little distinction between an above-the-hip design and one sitting horizontally. Is this accurate? If not, do these two styles differ in terms of safety and comfort? Does body shape play a role here? I have a fairly slim build and want to figure out which option suits me best if I opt for a full belt. I’d also appreciate insights on adjustable waistbands. Are they typically inferior to fixed ones? Is this dependent on your physique?
To clarify where I saw these opinions: The first blogger mentions he could remove the Carrara model, suggesting that My-Steel is a better choice because it rests on the hips rather than above them. However, he later found that he could actually pull out of the My-Steel as well. The second blogger agrees: an above-the-hip waistband works best for thinner people, so he also went with the My-Steel. Unlike the first guy, he didn't report many security issues. He eventually bought the Carrara too, but there wasn’t much feedback on whether it was superior to his current belt. Both bloggers noted they are slightly overweight, which likely explains why their belts felt a bit loose. I suspect this means my slender frame would benefit from the opposite setup, though I’m not entirely certain.
