I shared this over on fetlife a few weeks back and wanted to bring it here as well. There are some extra notes at the end.

Here’s where I’m coming from: my interest in chastity has been there for more than 15 years. To cut a long story short, I’ve experimented with quite a bit but nothing really stuck, so I eventually went ahead and got a PA piercing. While I was deciding which device to go for when Evotion came out, their launch caught my eye immediately.

I saw them as potentially being more affordable than Lori’s offerings—lighter in weight and possibly fitting better because of the custom 3D printed construction. I reached out to them right away, exchanged a good number of emails, and about nine months ago placed an order for my first device.

Unfortunately, that initial unit didn’t fit well at all. That’s when I learned there is significant cost involved in printing a new one if you mess up the specs. Although I was reluctant to spend more money on this, Andy was sure he could produce something suitable for me. The downside was his lack of helpfulness regarding how to get accurate measurements. His advice boiled down to “measure it with a ruler.” You can check their website where the measuring instructions are quite poor, which seems strange given how critical precision is.

I knew this method wouldn’t give me the accuracy I needed for a proper fit. So, I spent considerable time measuring and remeasuring at different times of day, sometimes using string and other times calipers. Combining these new measurements with my experience of how the current device sat, I felt confident that some numbers would work out. Thus, I ordered a reprint based on those updated figures.

The replacement arrived, and I managed to wear it for a couple of days. It’s still not perfect because the glans doesn’t always stay put; I have to readjust every time I head to the bathroom. Still, that is manageable, so I think it could work. This really highlights how tricky getting a proper fit can be.

However, there’s a bigger issue stopping me from long-term wear. Despite claims of a smooth texture on the PA pin, it doesn’t come close to feeling like metal. This has led to irritation around my piercing site. Additionally, I started experiencing urethral swelling after just one day, and by the fourth day, urination became difficult enough that I had to remove the device.

When I reported the swelling, his response really shook my confidence. He essentially said this is a toy meant for playtime, so if you get swollen, take it off. There were no suggestions on how to resolve the issue or adapt the device for me. It feels like he has given up on creating a working device for me after I’ve paid him quite a bit.

This regret makes me wish I had chosen Lori instead, as she is fully committed to making devices suitable for 24/7 wear and won’t stop until you are locked in.

Here are some design flaws:

• The PA pin texture, which I mentioned earlier.
• While clever, choices like the hinge and straps make the device bulky. Part of this is due to plastic being less strong than metal, requiring thicker walls.
• The hinge traps urine in several spots, making it hard to wash out thoroughly. After just 24 hours wearing it, I can smell urine on the device when removing it. It remains unclear how this will play out long term.
• Security isn’t as high as with a metal unit. Specifically designed so you can cut the straps for removal and replace them easily. He now offers semi-permanent clips which are lower profile, but they rely on the idea that wire cutters suffice when it’s time to release yourself. If you have an accountability partner or want self-challenge, this works fine. However, it lacks the intensity of a metal device locked firmly in place.

Ultimately, I prefer supporting manufacturers dedicated to their craft with proven track records. Evotion is doing innovative things, but their designs are still new and need refinement. Classic designs might be harder to put on initially, but they clean easier, and unlike this plastic, metal won’t absorb odor as much.

I am determined to make this work, so I actually cut off the printed PA pin and screwed in a curved stainless steel barbell. The hinge conceals the screw once locked, preventing me from removing the barbell. This looks promising regarding swelling and other issues, though it’s only been a day or two. Expect an update soon.

After spending all that money, I didn’t expect to have to resort to such measures, but at this point, I need to figure it out myself before eventually buying from Lori anyway.

Afterword That was the review posted two weeks ago. Since then, I’ve tried wearing it a few more times with the metal pin. Currently wearing it again, using Listerene for cleaning and spending about 10 minutes scrubbing it with soap in the shower. It helps slightly, but odor remains an issue. The device smells quite bad when taken off.

The metal pin does help reduce urethral swelling, but I believe the cage is still a bit too large despite triple-checking measurements. Previously, I gave up because the glans slipped out even while walking around. It seems that after about 24 hours inside, things shrink slightly, making it easier for the head to slip out of position.

I tried again recently; for the past 24 hours, it was better than last time. Daytime wear is okay—today I didn’t have to adjust since morning. HOWEVER, this morning and even now as I write, lying on my back with knees elevated in bed seems to cause extra shrinkage. The cage wouldn’t stay put briefly this morning. So perhaps lay down for a while and compare that measurement to when sitting or standing.

I’m not paying Evotion any more money for another reprint right now. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll move on to Lori. The device isn’t comfortable overnight either. Nocturnal erections tend to push the device off, putting pressure on the piercing. Sharp corners also become painful at night. These pressure points have made me subconsciously avoid daytime erections (a pretty hot side effect), but nighttime issues remain significant.

Basically, there are glaring design flaws and a lack of commitment from the owner. He is here to make money, not necessarily to put people into chastity. I really wish I had gone with Lori.

Well, I tried another 48-hour session and it didn't go well. Constantly readjusting the device is annoying, and there were actually traces of blood on my PA pin! The odor is horrendous even after diligent cleaning. I'm really surprised that other owners haven't mentioned this issue.

Sounds like a pretty horrible experience, and a shame too, these looked promising

what gauge is your PA? I know for me wearing any device with my pa wasnt comfortable until 4 gauge. I'm at a 2 now and its even better. I'm not saying that would make or break it with the evotion but it helps with any device.

The odor is more my concern. I'm at a 4. I was up to 0 though.
