Mature Metal discussion

Could someone explain how comfortable the double base ring feels? I’m wearing a Jailbird right now and also own a Looker 3, but I really like the steelworxx base ring design. Someone recently mentioned that the MM’s double ring is just as good or even better than the steelworxx style.

I’ll be getting a new cage soon, so this is one of my main points of indecision. Any insights would be much appreciated.
