Hello everyone! The testing has clearly uncovered some areas that need attention before a new look can become permanent. (The Theme Style selector in the bottom-left corner now lets you return to an older layout - at least for the moment) As I mentioned, these tests must happen on the live site so we can keep CM stable during the process. There are small expenses involved. More testing is coming up soon, so please bear with us. I could shut down CM while this work happens, but who wants to see it offline for three weeks right now? I’ve gotten lots of positive feedback about where things are heading:) - and unsurprisingly, some constructive criticism too. That’s exactly what I wanted. Even when I get a few harsh or unbalanced reactions, it doesn’t bother me much.:). Don’t worry… I know what the previous owner would say: ” If you don’t like it here- then leave!” I’m using a more open style, which I’ve actually used in my professional life for years… I’ll stick with this approach, even if it takes effort and self-restraint;-) CM WILL eventually have its new look and profile, so you might as well start getting comfortable with the change - perhaps not immediately to our newest try - but we’ll see if I can perfect it. At least accept that “The Old CM” isn’t returning… Please don’t expect replies from me on Monday or Tuesday because I’m traveling for work. Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!

I'm happy to be part of CM's changes, even in a small way. You're clearly putting in significant effort and I appreciate it.

That works for me. For now, I'm using the old red design since it's still good enough! I'll check out the new one once they've sorted everything out. The glitches in the new version are quite minor anyway.

I think I'm finally figuring out the new version; it's fine once you get used to it.

Change is always difficult but pays off eventually. (That comment had a bit of a sexual double meaning... "hard" and "...in the end"). Thank you for all your excellent work. I'm amazed at how many users are here now... It's growing so fast, I wonder when I'll bump into someone familiar. Maybe while I'm on duty during one of my flights, someone will ask, "Aren't you that cunning Mistress in this community?":p

Update. Admin now knows about the issues and is working on them. Hopefully, the site will return to normal operation.... soon.
