Full Belts discussion

Hi everyone. I’m on the verge of buying my first My-steel belt, but I can’t quite make up my mind about one detail: should it have an open or closed tube? I’d appreciate hearing what others think regarding this choice—pros and cons would be great! Thanks for all your help! ~blove
