Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

I took my device off last night for PIV since my Wife wanted to use me. Once She was happy, I stayed without climaxing and got locked back up.

That thirty or forty-minute window felt so liberating that I thought about resetting the counter on my lockup. Still, a few others mentioned they wouldn’t do it.

So what’s your rule for resetting? Is it only after you reach an orgasm? Or does any removal of the device count (even just for maintenance)?

CM’s profile shows both ‘locked up since’ and ‘last orgasm’. This makes me think some people are like me: if the device comes off, the counter resets because those two metrics operate independently.

I usually use my initial lockup date as a rough reference for when we started. Generally, I consider myself 'locked' until after I've been permitted an orgasm, and then loosely track the days from there.

I say the reset begins with an orgasm followed by being locked again. You can be unlocked for shaving or showering; those don't count as 'unlocked' status. Tease and denial periods also don't break it, so why should PIV sex without climaxing just because you felt good afterward? I feel good after going down on my lady even if she doesn't unlock me, yet the counter keeps running.
