Hi everyone, I’ve been observing this place for quite a while and have finally set up my profile. Due to some rather tangled circumstances in my personal life, I’m currently stepping back from Ds/chastity activities, but that doesn’t mean I’ve lost interest or stopped seeing myself through that lens in the future!:) My girlfriend introduced me to chastity several years ago. Since I was a teenager, I felt a pull toward dominant/submissive dynamics, and since we met when we were both late teens, we had plenty of opportunity to explore this ground together. For me, it has always been more about the relationship and interaction; submission feels like an extension of my personality rather than just a sexual fetish. That’s why I wasn’t immediately drawn to chastity at first. It felt like “a bit much” back then, but thanks to my girlfriend and her patience and guidance, I found my path and realized how deeply it connects with expressing both my submission and our relationship. After several months of taking those initial steps, we made it an integral part of our dynamic, which has since evolved into 24/7 long-term chastity. I tend to prefer a more everyday approach to Ds rather than all the leather and latex. I think this stems from my feeling that many people overemphasize the sexual aspects of dominance and submission at the expense of other elements. I am deeply convinced it is primarily about personality, even though the sexual component is significant—it’s certainly not the only one. I have many good friends who lean more toward BDSM than Ds, and I don’t think they’re wrong. We are all different, and variety in the world is a good thing.
