Site announcements and information discussion

I see a note indicating I have three messages. There are also two icon blocks nearby showing my like count and point total, but I can’t figure out how to view the actual messages. Are these private notes from other users or just replies to comments on my photos? This site feels somewhat cumbersome to me; it isn’t as intuitive as FetLife, for example. Apologies if anyone has sent me a message—I should be able to receive them directly via email too. Kimmie

A notification can simply mean you've earned points. If you move your mouse or pointer over the bell icon in the top left corner, it will display your messages.
