Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

We are entering our fifth year of chastity and orgasm denial play. Over the last three years, I went without orgasms for periods of two to three months at a time. We took a short break recently, but both of us missed that sense of chastity as well as the wonderful orgasms it produced. This round isn’t about long-term denial. In fact, I had an unexpected orgasm today after just 2.5 weeks; my wife suggested it rather than me begging for one. It was quite a surprise. I have always felt that my orgasms are superior when denied for less than a month. Beyond that point, sex loses some of its appeal and the release feels slightly painful due to strain, with semen becoming very thick and sperm-heavy. My wife laughs whenever I cum because of what I shout out during it. Today she asked, “What did you call me?” Even though I am an Atheist, in my moment of passion I was calling upon all the Gods from every religion. It really felt that good.

I think I will enjoy this shorter-term approach to orgasm denial play. My wife enjoys having me climax because it confirms her desirability, and my enthusiastic antics make her laugh out loud. Am I imagining things, or do any of you also find that orgasms taste better after a shorter period of denial?
