Hello Simon, The moment you wake during the night, rise and urinate. That discomfort stems from trying to have an erection; essentially, your body is constricting your urethra as it attempts an erection when you need to pee. Aside from that, applying some vaseline behind the base-ring could be beneficial. I'll send you a private message regarding the avatar....:)
