Site announcements and information discussion

I’ve seen that new profile updates sometimes include the user’s name, sort of like tagging who the message is meant for.

I want to do this too but I haven’t quite worked out how yet.

@bob40B My dear:) When you type the commercial @ symbol right before a member's name, it sends them an alert in the Alerts column to let them know they've been mentioned. Now you're aware of it (hopefully).
