Received the new Sapphire from Phoenix (New Zealand) today. My initial thoughts are positive: it feels comfortable, seems solidly constructed, and with the pressure plate in place, I can’t pull it out. Delivery took about three weeks because I ordered right when they started taking orders and had to wait for the first batch off the production line. The price was $152.74 USD, factoring in the exchange rate.

My only suggestion is that instructions should be included with the device; otherwise you have to email and ask whether the clip goes inside or outside.

Here’s a picture (from my profile album): see this community page link for reference. The tube is roughly twice as long as the 6000S, which is intentional so it doesn’t stimulate the head of the penis too much. I’ll update you on how I like it after wearing it for a few days.

I just ordered my Sapphire and can't wait! I already own four of their units, including the penetration cage. They are more secure than any other unit I've tried!

**More experience with Sapphire** I have worn the device a couple of times now for a few hours each time. I found that the ring diameter is too large; when completely flaccid, I can pull the entire thing off. A smaller ring would help. The second issue arose when my penis was about 1 inch long while flaccid one day: it got caught on the pressure plate and, as excitement built up, the plate "held" onto the penis preventing expansion, causing blood to pool at the base. It is huge and does show a bulge. I think with a smaller ring, the device would work better for me.

Thank you so much for keeping us updated, and ESPECIALLY for posting a photograph. It's always important to be able to see new devices and compare them with others. Hope things have improved. Are Phoenix planning to do different sized rings?

member_08f495df29 5 Sept 2026 #9

**Yes smaller rings** Phoenix is making a smaller ring and a smaller pressure pad. The standard ring that comes with it is 60 mm; the smaller one is 50 mm. I ordered both and will let you know if they help when mine arrives.

I'm also in the process of deciding whether the Sapphire is what i want.. The guardian works well, but like most devices, seems bulky.. I'm hoping the sapphire is different. As far as the pressure plate goes, it's a brilliant idea.. Hope this helps a little too.. gabby:cat:

**Larger** > gabby said: > . The guardian works well, but like most devices, seems bulky.. I'm hoping the sapphire is different. >:cat > Click to expand... The Sapphire is large and bulky by design; the tube is one and half inches longer than a 6000S and has a slightly larger diameter. From the Phoenix Chastity website: "The Sapphire cage internal diameter is 36mm - any penis equal to or less than this width will fit. The generous cage length - 4 inches or 10cm with more length taken by the curvature - will be a little too far for most to reach the end. This feature makes it harder to achieve in-cage orgasm as only the top of the glans contacts the cage walls - especially important when sensivity increases."
